When you order three things from a company WHY do they insist on shipping in three separate boxes that arrive within a day of each other??i understand if one item is backordered a few weeks. It’s just a waste.

We're leaving on Thursday to go visit my parents in Florida for a week. I'm so excited to be able to go outside without putting on 20 layers of clothing.
I wish I'd been able to go to the Devils game tonight. David Puddy/Patrick Warburton was there in full face makeup and the letter D on his chest. And they gave away a bobblehead of him.
He also wore a custom Devils "eight-ball jacket," which will be signed by Martin Brodeur and then auctioned off for St. Jude's Hospital.
For the first time in our 14 years together, I planned a birthday party for DH last weekend. Everyone cancelled last minute (for legitimate reasons, like stomach bugs). Dh said in all his years of winter birthdays, this is the first one that no one came to.
I've been doing "keto" for about a month. I'm not perfect with the high-fat part, but I've been doing well with the low-carb part. I told my nutritionist that I must have eliminated something accidentally (gluten?) because I haven't had a headache since I started (I usually get some "mild" migraines a few times a month) and my sinuses feel better. I was even able to eliminate caffeine without withdrawal headaches. It also seems to be working well for the medical issue I started this for in the first place - fingers crossed, I'll hear more this morning.
I updated the Sirius xm app this morning and when I opened it after the update there are over 100 ‘xtra’ channels now available including lots of different decade channels, workout channels, and my favorite limited channel Prom Radio!!

When H was deployed back in 2010 they had a skinny stray dog who was hanging around their post. They started feeding her and taking care of her, and raised the money to send her back home where she was adopted by a family in the unit.
She crossed the rainbow bridge yesterday, and I'm sad about it. She was very loved by those soldiers and their families, and I've enjoyed following her adventures on facebook with her adopted family all these years.
I’m pissed off at my H right now. That’s not a very feel good thing. It’s not really anything big and I’ll get over it, but right now I’m going to just marinate in my displeasure.

My DH and I have been doing Keto since early January as well. The high-fat part is ok to not meet entirely. You use fat to fill up, so if you are full you don't need to eat more. It is like a lever.
So good to hear you are feeling a difference already. We are doing it for weight loss and so far my DH has lost 17 lbs and I am down 8 lbs.
I'm finally getting around to doing crap around my house. Air conditioning/new furnace signed off yesterday and he's coming to pick up the check today (it's a few thousand over the limit on the Costco credit card) and bid on the fence we ignored last year. But after a winter of snow and cold, I'm shoving the dog outside to do his doo diligence while I stay warm and cozy inside. lol.
Can't wait to get the rest of this stuff done (by someone else so it's finished and done) and I can repaint these darn yellow walls. Go away, Tuscan Color Scheme.
I also have to Marie Kondo the hell out of this house. I really feel like doing the Angela Basset light-a-match thing and just burn this place down and start over so I don't have to clean it. Is that going overboard?

Another keto-er here, also since January. It has very dramatically NOT helped with the issue I started it for, but I'm down 11.5 lbs and got back to normal BMI after years of taking meds that have messed with my hormones and body composition. I was extremely skeptical at first but I have to admit I feel and look great.

That is amazing! Sorry it didn't help for the issue you started it for, but losing weight is a good thing! I bought the Keto Quickstart book by Diane Sanfilippo and even met her in person a few weeks ago at a book signing. Loved her clear explanation of how things work and the recipes in her book are delicious! Keep up the good work! Maybe we should start a Keto category on here for support.
