Hello, hello. As I'm looking at dining info and my kids' hardly-touched dinners, it's dawning on me that I can/should totally have my 4 and 6 year olds share some meals. Maybe even sometimes some of the other of us could share. Is this commonly done? I would think so. It would save us QS credits to use at another time, yes?

Absolutely fine for QS meals. FYI, QS dining credits are not differentiated between children and adults, so if you have an extra QS credit because a kid shared a meal with someone else, you could later use that credit for an adult. Or you could get an adult portion of chicken fingers and have the kids share that (but you’d only get one drink with the meal, no cookie or carrots on the side, etc.). And you cannot get more alcoholic drinks than you have adults present, so no ordering a six year old an adult meal with an extra beer for later!

Any place that isn’t a buffet or fixed price per person will let you share meals. Flame Tree BBQ in Animal Kingdom is a great QS to share since the portions are huge.

As long as it’s it a family style meal (Ohana, Garden Grill, etc) or a buffet (Crystal Palace, Tusker House, etc) or a price fixed like dinner at BoG you can split meals. We do it all the time
