I have been looking for some new follows too. On IG, I follow Pines and Palms and Natalie Borton, and fashion_jackson. I have trouble finding bloggers or IG I like that are accessible and actually model stuff that I would wear.

Wow, these are great. I checked out Natalie Borton and fell down the Intuitive Eating/body positivity hole. Love it!

I’ve been moving random IG follows over to the LIKEtoKNOW.it platform since it has the same feel as IG but it’s easy to find what they’re wearing and save ideas off to a list. I really just use IG as a way to keep up with people I actually know (either IRL or from here).

So what you all are saying is that I have to learn how to use Instagram?

My big objection to it is that there's no way to make your "follow" list private. I don't know why this grates on me so much, but it really does.

I’ve literally never clicked on anyone’s follow list. I’m not very interested in what other people (strangers) are up to in that way. I can’t be alone in that.

Honestly, like bowies mentioned, i don't check out who follows who. My peeve with IG is how you can't sort your feed by 'new.'

Ok I sucked it up and went on Instagram and added people. Haha. Some of these are really great!!!

I need to work in some more plus size people onto my list, but I appreciate the diversity in the lists here. Instagram may be responsible for a lot of bullshit in society but it does seem really great for visibility and body positivity.

I love “mommyinheels.” Stupid name, but she is plus sized. Well, more like size 16, so semi-plus sized I suppose.

That's my hangup with IG too, it causes a lot of people to act stupidly but its really fun otherwise. I love some of the makeup tutorial pages.
