Just less than two weeks ago, I posted about having intestinal cramping that continued all night and I almost passed out. Also had some spotting at that time. Went to triage after calling my OB and was told everything was fine, it was just intestinal distress.
Well, last night from 10-12, I had intestinal cramping (didn't feel like I was going to pass out, though!) and had diarrhea. Woke up this morning with such intense pain in my abdomen that it was hard to bend over and hurt to walk. The pain was at the top of my belly (I'm guessing my stomach?) not in my intestines this time. Took a shower which helped a bit. On and off all day I've had this pain. No more bowel movements since last night. I haven't eaten much today because my stomach hurts. I've also had pressure in my vagina, but mostly when I sit on the toilet. It gets worse if I try to push for a bowel movement.
I'm 21 weeks. I'm waiting to see how I feel tomorrow, but I can't believe I'm going through this again less than two weeks later! I don't think I ate anything odd recently, so I don't know why I'm having such difficulty. Admittedly, I haven't been able to eat much with this pregnancy as a lot of things make me feel ill.
I've done it a LOT this pregnancy and the midwife last time I was in triage was absolute bitch. She was like, "So...you just need to poop?" when I told her about my pain. Of course, last time I was more worried about my almost passing out/spotting. I think the almost passing out was related to my blood pressure being low (It was 90/56 last Weds.)
I'm just worried I'll call them and it'll turn out that I'm just having diarrhea and there's nothing to be done. :/

You definitely need to switch practices if you won't call in because you are afraid/uncomfortrable of their reaction.
Call L&D instead of your OB but please take care of yourself.

It’s not even the practice so much as the triage at the hospital. Every encounter has been less than stellar. They always act like I’m a hysterical pregnant woman. I also have anxiety and overthink things so I think that makes me pause like, “am I overreacting?”

Can you go to another hospital?
You have options.
I also have anxiety and often feel like I don’t have choices. Do you feel like your anxiety is well managed right now? From your recent posts you seem to doubt yourself and your options lately. When you find a new provider talk to them about how you feel. You don’t have to feel this way.
Maybe I’m way off but maternal mental health is a soapbox of mine so ignore me if I am wrong.

Until recently, I was an infant mental health therapist working a lot with maternal mental health. So I get it. And my anxiety has been high this pregnancy due to many outside circumstances. I keep thinking my anxiety is okay, but I don’t know. This pregnancy just feels 100% different than my last one and so much more difficult. I was getting therapy for anxiety until just over a month ago due to taking a new job and not being able to coordinate my schedule with my therpaist’s.
This is actually the best hospital in the area. The other one is horrible. So no, no real options there. I generally liked my care last time, but this time I feel like they’re not really paying attention. Like when my blood pressure was 90/56 and I had had a near fainting spell the week before, I was told to “drink water.” I asked if it could be related to my metropolol. They acted like they weren’t aware I was on it, even though their office prescribed it.
I had this with my last pregnancy and it was my gallbladder. Did you eat anything extra fatty? Definitely keep pushing them to identify the cause of your pain - it doesn’t sound normal.
I am also thinking gallbladder attack based on the recurrence. Don’t know why, but they tend to act up for women during pregnancy.
You need to go back to the hospital and advocate for yourself. You are not being a nuisance no matter how they may act. I did have a faintness spell earlier and my midwife recommended more small meals and to drink more water since I am generally low blood pressure. I don’t think that’s what your main problem is though. It’s quite possible you had a vasal syncope response because your stomach (general term) was in pain. The vasal nerve runs right along your intestines and can be triggered by stomach pain.
I would 100% want to be checked out if I had strong recurring pain during pregnancy. This is not normal. Go make them figure it out.

You have gotten great advice. Please go get yourself checked out. It’s their job to help you. Reading your posts makes me anxious. Don’t suffer through the pain.
I woke up with cramping and some diarrhea at 1am. Woke up this morning without pain, but after eating I think it’s starting to come back. I’ll call my OB when they open in a half hour.

I agree with the gallbladder responses! I'm sorry you feel like you can't call your Dr/hospital, but you need to advocate for yourself! There is no reason you should be in so much pain. Hoping you get some relief soon.
Well, it took two hours to hear back from the phone nurse which is unusual for them. She said it’s just GI pain, most likely a bug. She suggested anti acids and is calling in Reglan. She said if it gets worse or doesn’t go away, get checked out.

Did she not address that this just happened to you? I feel like they've been brushing you off and I don't care for it.

I brought it up and said, “why does this keep happening??” She asked if I have been around anyone with a bug (well, sure, my son had a quick thing but that was in between these two episodes.) She asked about any family history of IBS (none) and any history of GI issues in the past (none.)
That's not really an acceptable response. Can you switch OBs? I know it's a pain, but they are brushing off what seems like a serious matter. I would also encourage you to gain some confidence and self advocate for yourself in the interim.
