Blue Porch Ceiling-Update with pic!

We're getting our trim/porches painted and I'm thinking about doing the ceilings blue.  I have a wraparound porch on the front and a small screened porch on the back.  My house is yellow, white trim & shutters with a blue front door.  

Will it be noticeable-as in is it worth the extra cost I may incur (another gallon or two of paint and maybe additional labor cost for the edging/taping)?  Love the pics I see on pinterest but I'm wondering if in real life I should just leave it white and not bother.

I love painted porch ceilings. We have a front porch and I just picked up a quart of paint to paint our ceiling SW meander blue (same as our front door)

Please share pics when it's done!  I'm thinking about using SW Languid Blue.  I emailed the painter to see what the cost difference will be.  I could do it myself but he'd be way faster.

I'd go for it! I didn't look up your color ( might be lovely) but I would recommend you google blues for porch ceilings. I think there are a few frequently used ones (recollection from my searching this when we went to key west).

Door is SW Languid Blue.  I would do the porch ceiling the same or maybe lighten it a little.

I pinned this forever ago...if you scroll past the photos there are literally 50 paint colors for "Haint Blue"

I would dearly love to have a blue porch ceiling, but it wouldn't work with our exterior color scheme.

I live in Charleston and all porch ceilings here are haint blue! Love it.
Our community uses SW Piazza Blue.
