namasteak, I think that's a good plan. I also struggled with PPA (and anxiety in general) and 100% understand the need to have things like this planned out/set in stone.

Bless my (often crazy) mother in law who sent me an unintentionally funny list of what she is willing to help with and for how many hours a week. We’re very different but she gets me!

Haha, I sent a similar list to a friend who had a baby over the weekend Instead of vague "let me know if I can help!" I sent a list that was all, "here is a list of ideas of what I can do to help. 1) take you toddler with DS for a long park outing on Sunday morning 2) bring by dinner one night this week and stay to clean up, do laundry, help put toddler to bed" etc.
We signed our agreement for a post-partum doula/night nurse last night! We'll have her for 8 hours overnight, twice a week for three weeks with an option to extend. I'm pretty jazzed about it, she'll even do light chores for us overnight as well (washing/sterilizing bottles, folding laundry, etc).

Exciting! I’m hoping to sign ours tomorrow (we are doing 1 of the 3 nights a week DH will be OOT)
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for this week?
I’m finally feeling movements more consistently though usually only at night. And DH finally felt a kick too so he’s super excited. I do feel like all the not so fun symptoms come on much earlier this time. Like the constant need to pee my bladder will burst feeling and then once I go there is like two drops. I remember this from last time but I think it came much later. Same with the getting uncomfortably full. Like there is a super fine line between still being hungry/needing to eat more and the oh-my-god-I-ate-way-too-much-and-will-explode feeling. Don’t think that came until like 30 weeks last time.
3. Questions for the group?
4. Did you celebrate Easter or Passover this weekend? How did it go?
We are not religious at all so we didn’t really celebrate Easter much but we did drive down to my dad’s place and spent the weekend there. Most likely our last time on their farm since they just sold it. My brother and his wife was there as well and DS absolutely loves them. I love seeing DS with our families, all the love he gets and all the joy and happiness. Then on Monday we drove up to my mom and left DS there while we continued up to Stockholm for a little get away. One night at a hotel for just me and DH was just great. And DS had the time of his life together with his grandparents.
@elliet with my first pregnancy I had a couple of weeks in the middle where the placement of my uterus vs. my insides just did not work. DD also liked hanging out in the transverse position between weeks 24-28 and I think that was part of the problem. I remember walking around a mall with friends for 4 hours, getting so hungry, sitting down to eat a very good burger, taking two bites and then thinking I would explode and basically crying at the table since I was so hungry and the baby wouldn’t let me eat! I hope things readjust for you soon and you get some space again before the end.
I have my anatomy scan this morning. DD is going to get a peek at the baby with my Mom hopefully. Also hopefully this baby lets us see if it is a boy or girl (DD chillaxed cross legged throughout her anatomy scan). With the upcoming move I want to feel a bit more prepared. I also want DD to know so she can get used to the idea if it’s a boy (she is not keen on a little brother).
Huh. I had my 34w app't yesterday, and I have weighed almost exactly the same at 30w, 32w, and 34w. The same thing happened last time, but I chalked it up to being dx'ed with GD around 30w, and changing my diet. This time I'm GD-free and living it up, and still on the same weight trajectory. This week I even pulled out my glucose meter from last time and did the finger stick regimen for 2 days and confirmed that my blood sugar is fine with normal eating.
In the 33-34w zone I've gotten SO much more uncomfortable, I thought for sure I must be gaining. Wonder what's going in there. Hopefully the beginnings of progress?
