I have "just a little bit" of protein in my urine. And my OB is out of state May 24-29. You know, while I'm 38 weeks.
oh no! How much? Can you see the levels from your chart?
How would you feel about being induced earlier?
I wasnt given an actual number. Guessing it wont show up on my chart but I can check later.
Right now I'm scheduled for a c section at 39+1. C was born at 37+6, so I definitely anticipate going early. Like, 37-38 weeks. I've heard good things about all of the doctors, so that's the good news. But I love mine and know her very well at this point, so I'd hate for her to not be the one to do it.
34 weeks with Menstrual cramping bad enough to distract you but you can make yourself focus on a task and have no other symptoms. Call or not call?
TMI - definitely it constipation related
I'd go ahead and call. I've been having that off and on for a few days and when I was in for an NST yesterday, my OB did a cervix check after the NST showed some contractions and I'm starting to dilate. Nothing way out of the ordinary for 34 w, but it was still nice to know what the heck is going on.

I will try to post the birth story, but my little guy came on Tuesday, his due date. Longer and more difficult labor this time, but so worth it. I have all sorts of bf questions that I need to post.

Post away! I’d love to help answer questions.
Thank you, bf didn’t work out with my first and I Really want to make it work this time. I think that my milk just came in, looks like milk when I squeeze, engorged and breasts felt super hard on the sides. My son isn’t drinking enough to relieve everything today. The lv at the hospital said of to pump for the first 3 weeks, what should I do to fully empty and prevent pain and any other issues. Also, he lost a little weight and I want to make sure he gains. I keep waking him up to eat, but he’s been a lazy eater today. Of course my milk comes in on the day he decides to be sleepy. He partied all night so he’s making up for lost time. How many wet diapers is normal for 3 days? Thank you!

I would only pump to relieve pressure otherwise you could create an oversupply.
Totally normally for babies to lose weight and to be sleepy a few days after birth so don’t worry about that.
Things to keep him awake- undressing him, skin to skin, tickle feet, cold Wash cloth on feet
lovelyshoes that all sounds pretty normal. I would only pump a bit to take the edge off if you have to. Having DD naked other than her diaper worked best at the beginning to get her to feed. I would also blow on her a bit to keep her slightly uncomfortable (sorry baby!) DD became ravenous on day 4/5 so hopefully he finds his appetite.
