I feel like this is absolutely his “I play with both sides of the aisle”/ vying for Never-Trumper R’s theory put into action that only a disillusioned 76-year-old rich white man would try to play. Oh Wait.
In New Hampshire, Joe Biden predicts that once President Trump is out of office, Republicans will have “an epiphany” and work with Democrats toward consensus.
FFS Biden. You cannot possibly believe that shit.
My immediate reaction was similar: jeezy creezy, Joe, you were RIGHT FUCKING THERE for EIGHT YEARS of McConnell’s bullshit! Come on! But then I realized that he really probably does believe that a middle-of-the-road old white dude* is just what the process needs to get back on track.
*I accidentally typed “dud” at first; either work.
Warrens’s Twitter thread on why she won’t do a Fox town hall is a thing of beauty.
Elizabeth Warren: I’ve done 57 media avails and 131 interviews, taking over 1,100 questions from press just since January. Fox News is welcome to come to my events just like any other outlet. But a Fox News town hall adds money to the hate-for-profit machine. To which I say: hard pass.
This twitter thread might be the best thing I’ve seen a Democrat say in my lifetime. She was brutally honest, pulled no punches, said something that desperately needed to be said, and it was fearless and risky.
Buttigeig has a great pride selection and the boot edge edge tattoos are funny. I'm glad Kamala has such a strong Pride collection. Warren just added some Pride stuff, too.
I wish they had round or square car magnets for sale, not just bumper stickers. I'd put up a "For the People," "Persist" and even a "Math" one (not so much because of Yang but because I'm pro Math).

Pete's not my candidate, but the latest addition of the Pete & Chasten & Truman & Buddy t-shirt is adorable. We need to install a ceremonial monarchy just so Chasten can be king. He's so adorable and charming.
Both of my cats have PURR-SIST collars. I want to get a Persist But First Coffee mug. Because coffee.
I'm getting an "IT'S NOT GREAT, DAN!" Crooked media tumbler for my birthday - not candidate specific, but hilarious.

I feel kind of crumby saying this, but I'm not ever, never ever, putting a bumper sticker on my car. I don't care how much I love the candidate. Those things never come off, and I'm not planning on holding onto my car forever. I'd still like to be able to express my opinion, though, to all the strangers around me... They need to offer magnets.

I can confirm that the Warren ones come off with no damage to the paint. We had to take ours off to have a bumper repaired. You can remove them easily with a hair dryer.
That said, I also put in a request for a magnet, which I would def prefer.
this is becoming a circus show with all these fucking men. I don't think they'll bow out that early because EGO! Let's not forget about starbucks Shultz. He can afford to stay in and will because EGO.
NY1 has been going on and on all month about if he would do this and what a BAD IDEA it is and that all his advisors have been telling him it’s a BAD IDEA. But he goes ahead and does it anyway. The ego on these men to think that they are needed. That they’re the answer.

I saw that on a post the other day and was immediately all "YOU NEED TO BUY ME THIS FOR MY BIRTHDAY!!" at my husband.
I have a "Persist Responsibly" pint glass that is quite possibly my favorite swag ever.
Doesn't come across in this article but Senator Harris was definitely taking a swipe at the media acting like she would be a good running mate in this one.

I read a tweet last week that something like "white men say 'fuck it, I'll run for president' like white women at 'fuck it, I'll get bangs' don't they?"
You know those texts you get from a candidate/candidate's representative? Do they actually come from real people? Do real people read your response?
Today I got a text from Jack with Bennet's campaign asking for a "contribution." I said no, and that I'd rather he stay in the Senate. Not a big surprise that I didn't hear back but I then wondered if anyone actually reads what people say on those things.
