Whenever I hear Harris, I always think, “if I didn’t know she was an attorney, I would certainly be able to guess it.” She hedges and uses vaguer, “safe” language too much. Warren is IN THERE speaking her mind, and that is why I switched my preference recently.
Prior to the primaries, I was all in for Harris. But I've recently realized that Warren has edged her out. Warren's policy proposals have just been so stellar, whereas Harris hasn't really done anything to wow me since she declared.

This is where I am. I love Harris, don’t get me wrong, but Warren warms my cold, dead, policy-loving heart. Even if policy proposals need finessing, I am here for someone who is out there with actual solid ideas. No one else comes close right now.

Tritto exactly. Warren's town hall performances have blown me away. She's phenomenal. Harris is still a solid #2 though.
I totally picked my unknown governor Steve Bullock (well after Harris and Warren). I like him a lot as a Dem in a GOP-dominated Senate/House state, but he has no chance in the primary. I am not sure his end game. I almost asked him when I was talking with him and his wife at a race this past weekend, but we were keeping it about the race and I thought it would be awkward to be all, "So Steve, what is your end game for jumping in the race for 2020? Are you thinking VP to someone else who is more liberal and known?" I don't know him well enough to do that, but I am tempted to ask a friend who does know and work with him.
This. DH and I have met him on several occasions. If you get the low down, will you pm me ?
Elizabeth Warren impresses me with her policy knowledge and her ability bring complex issues into terms middle Americans can understand and connect with.
After my negative adventures with a high deductible health plan, I’ve come round on some of her health care proposals.
I’m seeing Warren winning over the Bernie bros on my Facebook feed.
Same here. My fb friends who were all in for Bernie and wouldn't stop talking about him have chilled out this round. They still post about him but they post more about Warren.

I saw Warren last night at a town hall, DH and I were in the first row, like six feet from her. SHE WAS PHENOMENAL. You guys, she gave me goosebumps, made me laugh, made me cry, just 100% genuine and down-to-earth, smart, funny. I could go on. SHE CAN HAVE ALL THREE OF MY VOTES in this poll.
Also the crowd was SO diverse! Young, old, black, brown, white, gay, straight, ladies wearing hijab, the whole gamut. Wearing shirts and buttons for every progressive cause under the sun. And so excited and happy. Dancing, singing, chatting. It was so refreshing, empowering, and uplifting. I am totally riding a high. If you have the opportunity to see her, DOOOOOO IT.

My friend was at her town hall last night and said it was incredible.
Am I the only one who doesn't like the "I side with" polls? I mean, I side with myself 100% on political issues, that doesn't mean I think I'd make a good president. It can be interesting to see who in the field has taken up your issues, but it's not all that informative on getting the job done.

I think they're generally informative and interesting but I don't like how they don't prioritize issues over others (at least that much).
Like, with our governor's race last year here - the candidate I sided with the most in the quizzes was fine. Not my favorite, but she would've been a decent governor. The candidate I sided with a bit less was actually my preferred candidate because education is my #1 issue in local elections and he had very well-thought-out policy proposals on a variety of education issues. The candidate I sided with more in the quizzes had very little in that regard.
Elizabeth Warren is strongest in my heart right now because she campaigned in Kermit, WV. She has no chance of winning this state, the WV primary is so late it is virtually unimportant, and I live in WV and wouldn't go to Kermit by choice. So I admired her doing so.

I suppose they can be useful if you are a low information voter, but if you are a high information voter, I don't think it's that helpful. I am not sure I always trust their assessments. But in addition to StrawberryBlondie's point about them not prioritizing issues, they also don't account for judgment and other qualities like that. For example, Sanders and Warren have most of the same big positions on the economy, but I believe that Warren has better judgment and will be better able to accomplish things.
The fact is that with a couple of exceptions, we're largely working on the margins when it comes to policy in this primary. So things like priorities, judgment, efficacy, and staffing choices matter a lot to me.

Quizzes are only as good as the data and algorithms that go into them and the questions. Whoever makes them has their own biases, and sometimes even an agenda. I've always assumed some are part of the disinformation bot campaigns intending to sow confusion and discord.

Yes, some seem to weirdly weigh issues or steer you in a direction that feels off. But even if the data is hood, I have an issue with the premise.
Agreement is not a qualification, and a good idea is not the same as a good plan. If you were interviewing for an assistant would you ask them how important they thought typing skills are or would you ask how fast they can type? Obviously things shift fast enough in politics that even plans won't look the same when they become legislation, but I know something about a candidate is willing to fight for by what they put in their plans.

I am as well. Even the hardcore ones. Even the females that I suspect have lady issues and have reasons to hate on all women. Yes I have more of those than I have bros.
