Please weigh in on this hair color

I've got long, straight dark brown hair. I've typically done warm-ish highlights, pretty standard.

I've got an appointment tomorrow and I'd like to do something a little more fun.  I like this picture and think the color would work well. I can't go too crazy for work purposes, but this seems like it would be fine.

My main concerns is how this is going to look on straight hair, as nearly all similar pictures online are styled similarly.  I either air dry and get a very slight wave, or do a straight blowdry. The odds of me curling it are approximately zero.

Thoughts? Is this even still an "in" color and style? I'm open to other suggestions too!

I love it! But I've had my hair color similar to that in the past.

I change my hair color frequently, so take this for what it's worth. I don't ever know what's in style, I just do what like for me.

I like it and think it would look good on straight hair. It doesn't look like the color is only showing where it's curled. It's just that those kinds of curls are in and straight hair just isn't "pretty" or trendy enough for people to want to feature it in photos it seems.

I tried taking some yesterday but I wasn't able to get a good one. It's definitely a pink/rose gold highlight, but it changes color depending on the light. It's subtle but you can definitely tell it's pink in the right light. It's pretty awesome, and I'm super happy with it.


I need to figure out my brow color though because my current shade of Gimme Brow is not good!

Rose gold highlights are fun!  I got them last time (I have medium brown hair) and in the sun they looked pink-ish.  I just got them mixed in with my regular highlights so it wasn't that obvious. I also wanted to make sure I looked professional since I have to meet with vendors on a regular basis.  I can't wait to see a pic of your hair!

Maybe check out ABH? I have reddish blonde hair (I call it dark golden strawberry blonde, lol) and Caramel is the closest I've ever found to almost matching my brows.
