I need a very silky cami to wear under shirts. I’ve ordered a couple from Amazon and they suck. They are generally sized weirdly. So, has anyone had any luck with really smooth, not “grabby” camis? I wear them all the time, so I’m willing to spend a decent chunk of change on them.
Nothing fancy or silky, but I always buy the Old Navy tanks, not the thin strap camis but the thicker strap ones. I find they're a nice weight to wear under everything and they're long enough that I can tuck them in. They're a good blend of stretch.
This is what I have from express. It's silky but you should know it's not fitted. I wear it under white shirts though.
ETA: Because I have zero fashion sense, I should tell you that this was recommended by a capsule wardrobe ebook I bought one time. So it's got an endorsement of someone with better fashion sense than me.
Because I am fashion challenged -what's the benefit of wearing a silky cami under clothes vs a fitted or cotton cami/tank?
My cotton camis grab onto my shirts and make them hang weirdly. Like today I have on a kind of crepe shirt and I’m fighting to keep my shirt from riding up and “sticking” to the cami when I stand up after sitting for even a few minutes.
