Seems appropriate to start a new thread.
The bloat is out of control for me. I’m exhausted, but that could be that I’ve been at Disney for 7 days, but very little morning sickness right now (KOW).

Only 1more week left of my first trimester. Had my first trimester US and the baby was moving and grooving, it still amazes me every time I seem it move around. Also had our NIPS testing done so we should know the gender next week, can’t wait to find out what we’re having. Otherwise nausea is better, as long as I don’t eat certain things.

One more week (and a day give or take) of first tri for me too! I’m 12+5 today. I’ll be AMA at delivery so we has the NIPT test done and it’s a BOY. I can’t believe it. I’m not sure why, I’ve felt since day one it’s a boy, but just crazy to see in writing.
Anyone else “achy”? Im fine in the mornings, but by the end of the day, my uterus/lower abdomen is so achy. I’m guessing it’s all the loosening muscles combined with my lack of working out and lifting my 42lb 3-yo and 25lb 1-yo all day. I try not to, but it’s just inevitable, I’m BEAT by days end.
I gagged like 6 times tonight cooking dinner for my kids. Their chicken nuggets smelled so terrible to me.
I’m also still really really exhausted. It might have something to do with the fact that I’m orienting for a new job, and they have me switching back and forth from day shift to night shift every two weeks and my body just can’t get it together.
Had our first ultrasound today, and I’m measuring 8w5d. Heartbeat in the 170s.
I had my first appointment and sonogram yesterday. According to my LMP I should be 9w 3d but baby was measuring 8w 3d so they changed my due date back a week. Heartbeat was in the 170s. Only bummer was that the doctor I saw yesterday just announced last week that he's retiring at the end of September so I had to pick a new doctor in the practice. Yesterday was the first time I'd seen him but he was so nice and I instantly felt comfortable with him. Super bummed.
I'm finding that I get full super quick and very bloated after I eat. I'm trying to do small frequent meals to help with that. I'm also turned off by chicken, although I could seriously tear into a nice steak at any moment.
Here's a pic of baby! The sonographer showed me it's little arm and leg nubs swinging around. It was so cute.

5w3d. I feel much better than I did last week. I get a little tired sometimes, and I can't work out hard like I was (getting way winded) but overall good. I am hopeful it will last in the coming weeks.
psychmom, chicken is my nemesis every time I’m pregnant. I’m iffy about raw chicken even not pregnant, but even thinking about it right now makes me gag.

Same. I basically don’t cook for the whole first trimester outside of food for the kiddos, lol. Lots of Trader Joe’s meals and takeout for hubs.

I’m a little freaked out for my NT scan on Monday because at my last appointment (11w) the midwife couldn’t find the HB with the Doppler and had to pop me over to u/s. We “saw” the HB but the fact that my OB found the HB in 2 seconds the week before and she couldn’t still has me slightly on edge.

I made bone-in chicken thighs earlier this week and that was hell I had cereal for dinner that night.

This happened to me at 11 weeks also. Previously was able to find the HB on Doppler and then couldn’t. At the in office US she found the hb, just said at that moment the baby was deep into my pelvis and it made it hard to find on doppler I guess. My nt was good a week later.

Thanks for this! It will have been 2 weeks since i was in when I have my NT Monday so almost exactly the same timeframe, the MW said the same thing about the baby being deep in my pelvis too.

I am struggling this week. We traveled halfway across the country to see my parents and I was exhausted the entire trip. We’re back home now and my morning sickness is awful. I’ve been taking B6 but it only seems to work half the time. I’m so grateful for DH because he has been doing all of the housework and cooking in addition to keeping DS entertained. My MS was worst from weeks 6 to 9 with DS, so I hope it’s similar this time (I’m 8 weeks today).

My 3.5 year old just goes “do you have a baby in your belly? Yea you definitely have a baby in your belly” and the skips off, we haven’t told her anything yet...I know it’s my third, but that combined with the stranger who asked me how far along I am in Petco today has me feeling REAL large right now. I’m only 13 weeks for crying out loud!

My 9 year old told me a week ago that my stomach was definitely getting bigger.... I was 8 weeks. Thanks kid.

The b6 was working pretty good last week but this weekend I was miserable. I don’t know how I survived yesterday. I feel a lot better today but still not perfect. I can’t wait for 1st trimester to be over. I still have 1.5 weeks until my appointment. I’ll be 9weeks tomorrow. I’m definitely too tired and sick to cook anything. We are living off anything quick and easy. And I’m living off anything that will go down.

This was me too. Still not up for a lot of cooking but my DH has jokingly named this the “wonton soup pregnancy” because it’s most of what I can stomach right now

My not quite 2 year old is touching my belly more and notices it sitting on my lap- moms belly is hard and rounding instead of nice and soft lol. I’ll be 14 weeks tomorrow and have been showing for weeks. I popped SO early this time, some clothes it looks like pudge but anything fitting makes it crazy obvious that I’m expecting.
Never again will I do 7 days at DisneyWorld followed by a Disney Cruise in August while in the first trimester.
Yeah I don’t envy you lol. I was there last year in the beginning of June - not pregnant and the heat was hard to handle. My friend lives in Orlando and is pregnant with her first. She’s due next week and never goes outside unless it’s early in the am or very late in the pm.
I did a cruise in first tri for DD1 and... yikes. I remember attempting to snorkel and I got seasick *in* in the water and all the fish swam over and started eating my barf. Good times, lol.

Got the results of our NIPT and everything is low risk. Just the fetal echo at the anatomy scan and we will be in the clear. Did find out we are having a boy, I’ve been calling the baby him from the beginning so I’m in no way surprised. So excited to be able to plan for our little guy.
