Edit:
I took my list off as things have been ordered off of it and I want to make sure everyone gets a chance.
To the person (people?) who ordered off of my list, I want you to know I'm so grateful and thankful! You have helped create task boxes for my students to learn to work independently which is a huge important skill for them! Thank you so much!
I’ll share my list too. After spending 13 days on strike last year which led to the resignation of our superintendent, I am looking forward to a new slate this year. I’m really working hard to make my health room a safe haven for our large immigrant and low income students.

I was looking at your list and noticed you have the care and keeping of you 2 book on there. I used to have that one but I think I must have passed it on to a friend but I do still have the original one for younger girls. Would that be of use to you or do you have that one already?
I teach in a unique spot... VERY rich kids who have every opportunity imaginable, and the poorest of the poor. I have little to no middle. I want to build up a library of books that are for the kids to keep... some of my kids have nothing and a lot of times they get what other people are getting rid of. I want these kids to get some new/popular books. All of these books will be given away for those kids to keep. Book ownership really effects reading and their sense of worth.

Here is mine. I teach students with dyslexia in a Title 1 school in an underfunded urban district. My kids start so deep in the hole. You guys have been so incredibly generous in the past, I truly appreciate anything.
The things on this wishlist represent my goals to diversify my classroom library, provide healthy(ish) snacks, supplies desperately needed (specific to dyslexia or general classroom), and brighten our environment, and increase my knowledge base. Used condition is fine for anything!!!
Here is my list--it's very short. I'm a middle and high school English teacher at a magnet school that is always hovering on the cusp of being Title I, but has missed it by a handful of kids for the last two years we've been open. We are a new school but get no money from the district for novels, which means that last year I bought class sets of books for three different grade levels out of my own pocket. I just can't afford it this year, but many of my kids can't afford to buy their own books.
***ETA--I've replaced the 8th grade book with additional copies of two ninth-grade texts that I need for my larger classes this year. Thanks again to everyone who has donated to my classroom!
The one title on this list will be used for an on-level ELA 8 class, most of whom are indifferent about reading. It's a high-interest novel, and the author used a multimedia approach (post-it notes, texts, journal entries, and newspaper articles) to tell a story about race, prejudice, and challenging privilege from three different viewpoints. www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/3T14P5TKK6N7V?ref_=wl_share
As always, I appreciate any donations, large or small. Switching grade levels and have no budget. I’ve already spent a few hundred of my own and just can’t spend anymore.
I teach high school students with moderate to severe learning difficulties at a title 1 school. Most of my students will only have the school supplies they get from my classroom. Any support is greatly appreciated <3
You were all so generous last year! I am trying to get my kids more excited about math this year, so I have some math games on my list. I also always need books. I would be incredibly grateful for any help anyone wanted to offer. My kids are amazing and I wish I could give them the world.
GBCN has been so awesome for us teachers! I teach 5th grade Math and Science at an older Title 1 school. I am trying to build up my classroom library with science and math books and beef up my math and science games and manipulatives. Anything is appreciated tremendously!
Also, I’m looking for a reward to give to students who pass tests, improve grades, and have good or improving attendance. We had a guest speaker this week teach us that our best rewards should be tangible and walkable such as a ribbon, necklace, or button. Does anyone have any ideas? I’ve thought paper crowns, glow sticks, etc and can’t decide. Another guest speaker mentioned this same idea a few years ago and used Mardi Gras bead necklaces at his school, but I think that could go south pretty quickly. I love the idea though. Simple, cheap, effective. Please let me know your tangible rewards!

I just did a quick search but found these and thought they were cool. It may be a little nerdy but I would be excited to get either one of those. lol

I give stickers for perfect scores. It’s amazing what high school students will do for a sticker. I’ve also written a positive note or email home (or made a phone call). When I do this I ask the kid who they want me to call to brag about them (coaches, parents, etc). What about certificates (target has all kinds in their dollar bins right now) and candy?

I’m an elementary librarian for a school with pre-k to grade 5. My budget was reduced drastically last year and I’m anticipating having no budget this year. We are trying to set up a makerspace and I’d also love to include more flexible seating options.

I’m an asst principal so please feel free to skip over mine if you would rather send items to a teacher. I do support all of our teachers and kids (and I assure you I don’t make a fat salary no matter what the media may say 😛 Like teachers I spend my own money on things for the school.)
I have student prizes on my list for something I am wanting to implement called positive office referrals. Basically instead of only sending kids to the office when they do something wrong, I want to encourage teachers to send kids down for doing something GOOD so they can get recognition and a small prize. Also my teachers have asked me to update bulletin boards around the school that look like they’ve been up since the school opened 19 yrs ago. I have been doing this but ran out of materials, eta: the clothespins are for k and 1st grade lunch numbers (they keep losing their clips and I make more) and for teachers in the book room. Thank you all for doing this every year! It’s amazing!
I teach fifth grade in an urban district that is a very diverse school. We have over 25 countries represented every year in our small pre-k to 5 school of fewer than 350 kids. I try to keep a large classroom library, but most of the readily available books lack diversity. We buy all our books on our own dime. I’d really like to feature more books with a wide spectrum of diverse characters and story lines.

That would be of use to me! Kids come to me at all different levels.

I’m an elementary general music teacher in a title 1 building in Michigan. My most consumable supply are snark tuners for ukuleles and watch batteries. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Thank you for this! I teach Kindergarten. Most of my class are English Language Learners. I am focusing on adding more fine motor and gross motor activities into the day. I also invested in some crayola light trays and you will notice some translucent things that would work on the trays.
Anything you see on my list does not have to be new. If you happen to know of a used, inexpensive item or something you are getting rid of, please let me know!
This is so great. I won’t do one because I’m usually reimbursed for whatever I buy for my classroom, but I’ll try to get something from everyone else’s list.

I’m all set as I “borrow” somebody else’s classroom and am in an office most of the day, but just want to say thank you to everyone. This is a great tradition.
