Also, while today was my first day of school, I recognize that others don't start for another month. But please post your lists too! I can't donate right at this second because I don't get a full paycheck til September, but I plan to help fellow teachers next month from lists that get posted.
Thanks to everyone for their support of teachers and educational staff!
Yes, I’d like to donate in September, since that’s when many teachers know more of their needs. I’ll try to bump this throughout the month.
Mine is basics and cleaning supplies, which I will be giving to my co-teacher at my previous school since I don’t know what/if I’ll need anything at my new school (and she’s seriously the most amazing ENL teacher I’ve met).

I wanted to share another way I fulfill items on my wish list by using a mobile app called verydice. You watch videos and answer surveys to earn rolls. Those rolls turn into tokens, which can be redeemed for pretty much anything on Amazon. I’ve used it to get storage baskets, paper towels, games, etc.
If you use my friend code (3147526) when you sign up, we’ll both get 30 bonus rolls.
Has anyone heard of the Clear the list campaign on Gofundme? A country singer named Casey Donahew is raising money to fulfill teachers' Amazon wish lists (under $300 of educational things). You can submit the link. www.gofundme.com/f/clear-the-lists

Come and let me know who sent these!
-Thank you for the pack of underwear and leggings. -Thank you for the pack of toothbrushes. -Thank you for the deodorant (teachers thank you too, more than you know. Middle school body odor is no joke). -Thank you for the box of tampons, guy stuff book, care and keeping if you 2 book, boys socks and antibiotic ointment.
I’m really blown away by the generosity of this community. There are days when my job is really hard and I feel stretched thin. Then I pull out something that meets a need or makes a students life better that day and I’m reminded that so many people care and together we can do so much. A very sincere thanks for everyone who helps students whether through this board or their local community.

I think that was me!! Our secretary just got back into school last week and went through packages. She emailed me today and said I had several packages waiting. I looked at my wish list and saw what was purchased. I had no idea anything was sent, so thank you, thank you!
To anyone else that may have donated, I am truly touched that you are helping my classroom. I can't get back into my room until tomorrow, so I am excited to see what is in the other packages!

I sent underwear also. It says it was delivered yesterday so I hope you got it!

A huge thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone that has donated. Amazon seems to have split some of the orders up, so please if you sent anything on the anonymous list and it isn’t grouped like you ordered still come and claim it. I want everyone to know how much my students appreciate it. I overheard an 8th grader leading a 6th grade orientation group say “the nurse here will really hook you up if you need anything- just ask her, it’s awesome!” So much of that is possible because of the kind people in this board. I have baskets out for kids to take what they need for a lot of things without asking and it always fills me with joy to refill the baskets. Students are being helped daily to have their basic needs met without having to beg or explain why. This is so crucial for their self esteem and sense of self.

bugsandbibs, my heart just melted <3
ETA: I hope this is ok to share since I"m not a teacher. Sharing for a friend who just got hired to teach her first full year of K. She worked as a para for many years while earning her license. She took many unpaid snow days and other opportunities to fulfill this dream. She'll be building a whole new classroom. Most of the stuff on her list is really well priced

I sent the deodorant. I taught middle school for 13 years, so the deodorant was what I noticed first. Lol I don't post often enough for anyone to recognize my name, but I did want to let you know how much all you do is appreciated. Thank you to everyone in here who works with kids and teens. You all are making a huge difference in the world! ❤️

Please update us in the middle of the year, so we can donate again.
Thank you also to whoever sent the books "I can do hard things" and "Geeks, Girls and Secret Identities." Somehow the packing slip wasn't included in the package.

Thanks to the long time lurker who sent the book "The Night Santa Got Lost." We live in an area with a high military population, so they love when we talk about NORAD.
