I feel like I'm in one of those bad dreams where you're trying to dial a phone number and you keep pressing the wrong buttons and having to start over.
So my plan...C?...was this tile I found lots of pictures of online: Bellavita H-Line in Pumice.
Weirdly, the website doesn't tell you where to buy it -- they tell you to email for a list of distributors. I emailed over the weekend, but figured I'd call today. They have a Texas office and a head office in Canada.
I called Texas. The woman on the phone was really weird, she was like, "I'm not sure if I'm allowed to give out that information." I was like, "You are not sure if you are...allowed to tell people where they can buy your product?" It was bizarre. She gave me the number of a salesperson, and it went to voicemail.
I called the Canada office. Even though it listed their office hours and they should have been open when I called, the message said the office was closed.
I tried cold-calling a bunch of local tile stores, and none of them carried it. Finally, I searched online and found a place about 90 minutes from me that carries it. I called them and they were like, "Oh. Yeah. Bellavita." Turns out the company closed its doors LAST WEEK!!! They went out of business!
Now I'm wondering if I should just hugely roll the dice and order some of the remaining stock from an online place or pick something ELSE. I know there's probably similar products out there but I was really convinced that I would like this one.
We have a similar tile for our kitchen backsplash. It's Jeffrey Court Weather Grey. It has that slightly darker outline around the edges. We got it from Home Depot.
I feel like I had similar frustrations picking our accent tile at the last minute. It’s so stressful!
If I were you I’d really try to find something you could see in person. It’s a big decision. I feel like our kitchen back splash is sort of similar to your first choice, except a bit darker grey. If it will help I can try to find the name of it. Here’s a pic.
There are so many tile options out there that I would probably not try to order remaining stock. That seems like it could not end well. I agree with PP - can you go into a tile store that is not big box store and work with a consultant? I showed my consultant photos of the room and photos of what I liked, and she helped me pull things.
Also, I completely sympathize with you. We are doing an entire gut job of our house and out of everything, we have had the most issues with tile. I had a mental breakdown over it on Saturday.

Oh man! I'm sorry you are having the worst luck! I wouldn't order the rest of the stock. If something comes in broken, or not right, you don't want to be stuck with it.
I've heard good things about the Tile Shop - you're in a major metro area right? Is there one around you??
While I haven't purchased anything from there, I went yesterday and I couldn't believe their selection. They had A TON of stuff and the woman was super helpful, too.
