I have two kitchen drawers dedicated to containers that go into lunches. I use a lot of stainless steel containers with different sizes that nest so it doesn’t take up too much room.
I just finished organizing my lunch container drawer! If i could figure out how to post a pic I would!
I have a drawer in my kitchen where I have boxes used as dividers and all of my containers and lids for lunches go in there. I have 3 kids so make 15 lunches a week. I also keep their napkins, little silicone divider cups, and water bottles for lunch in there.
I have a drawer in the kitchen for the tiny tupperwares we use to refrigerate toddler-size amounts of foods. The lunch containers that go to/from daycare, extra straw bottles, etc go in a basket in our IKEA cube shelving.

We have a lot of containers because we pack lunches for both kids and myself. Our island has a double door cabinet with 2 pull out shelves. The top shelf is all lunch containers. Everything is stacked up by like sized containers. I would like to get bins or something for the shelf, but I haven’t found any that fit yet.
I wish I had drawers like OPs. I think I’m going to use a big plastic bin (sans lid) and put it in one of my cabinets. Basically treat it like a drawer.
We have an island in the center of our kitchen with 3 drawers. The bottom drawer is devoted to my son's lunch/snack containers, small prepackaged snacks (like granola bars), and his daily meds. For us, the key was to minimize the amount of containers we had. I'm better at keeping them organized when we only have a few sets, not endless possibilities. A year or two ago I invested in stainless steel snack containers (in addition to a couple stainless bentos we have), and I never misplace them. For me, it's easier to misplace plastic because it's easily replaceable, not as durable, and cheaper so we used to have more of it. But with the stainless stuff I know in an instant if a lid is missing (didn't make it into the dishwasher with the base), it lasts forever, and stacks really nicely in that drawer. We have a small plastic storage bin (shoebox size) in that drawer for smaller pieces and lids.
I have a plastic Bin/basket on top of the fridge. My kitchen is small and we don’t have a ton of extra storage space. I only have a couple of sandwich containers though. I use reusable snack bags for carrots, crackers, etc.
This is ours. I try to nest similar shapes and keep most of the lids together in a larger container. It works pretty well as long as I’m diligent about putting things away nicely.
I keep these in the lower drawers of a dresser that lives in the kitchen. They make nice baby toys and satisfies a baby's urge to play in the kitchen while also being safe.

ours are a mess in our lazy susan. Toddler can get into it and I do not mind because it's all plastic and fun to play with.
