Kind of a slow week...the drywall was all spackled and sanded, and it looks like they're getting ready to pour the porch. Tile install starts on Monday!
I love how light filled the hallway connector is! What are you going to do with that wall opposite the windows?
That's a really good question...I had thought like a sideboard table and some art above it, but it's really long...here's a pic I took today. Any suggestions? I feel like the whole thing being an art wall may be a little overwhelming, but maybe a few big pieces?
I like the idea of the art wall, especially as it'll be so light filled. Perhaps with a seating area?
I don't think it's wide enough for seating...it's the main passageway from the bedroom and there will be built-ins all along it on the window side. Bookcases opposite the living room (to the right of the front door) and cabinets opposite the closed side.

This is the inspiration for the built-ins, so hopefully they will have storage drawers under each window that will double as seating.
