We replaced flooring with Home Depot's Lifeproof vinyl planks in "Shadow Hickory." Painted kitchen cabinets, replaced a couple of walls with shiplap, replaced the front entry railing. Painted doors/doorframes and baseboards.
For some reason I can't get the Kitchen before to work, but it was wood cabinets, same floor that's in the entryway from before, and cream walls/soffit tinyurl.com/y4lae9hq
Thank you! The railing was by far the most difficult part of the project. The rest wasn't too hard, just time consuming. The railing cap is black walnut which I looooove.
Thank you! Yes, the flooring was pretty easy and fast! We did almost 700 square feet in 2 weekends. But I will say that having a saw made the process go much more quickly than using a utility knife to score and then snap pieces to length and width, which is the method the Lifeproof installation videos show. The most difficult part was going around door frames.
We have the same exact floor and plan to replace it. Unfortunately, I can’t stand the smudge marks that so quickly appear on it and makes it look dirty. We are a no shoes in the house household and do walk around barefoot so that may be the reason. No pets though. We use the Bona vinyl cleaner mop on them which does remove the smudges, but I am tired of constantly cleaning them only for them to look dirty the second one of us walks on them. Seems to be a common complaint about these floors.
