Ugh. Daycare just called and our 3 yo has a fever. DS is 3 weeks old and I’m completely freaked out. A lot of this is my anxiety I’m sure, but H and i catch like 85% of her illnesses. How worried should I be?

That really sucks. Just keep doing what you can - wash hands a lot, keep from touching faces as best you can, quarantine your feverish kiddo the best you can, etc. Unfortunately, worry isn't antibiotics or an anti-viral. I hope everyone is able to stay well and your 3YO gets to feeling better soon.
FWIW, DS picked up his sister's cold at about 10 days old (she loved all over him one night after coming home from school, and then both were plague-ridden the next day). I was very stressed, upset, panicked, etc., but it passed in a few days and everyone was ok.
I'm sorry, that is definitely anxiety provoking. A fever can be so many things, which makes it hard. It could literally be nothing.
If you have a SO, have them take care of your 3 year old and keep them separated as much as possible and/or baby wear to keep your newborn close to you. Wash everyone's hands a lot. If you're nursing, breastmilk is pretty magical at providing antibodies for your newborn.
I would be super vigilant about hand washing, and hope for the best. There isn't much more you can do. Wash your hands after you touch the big kid every time, and before you touch the little one every time. Godspeed!
DD (3.5) got sent home from daycare with diarrhea while I was home on maternity leave, and we managed to keep whatever it was from spreading through the family. Thankfully!
Wash hands really well and just do your best to keep the older from the younger.
When ds2 was like 2 weeks old ds1 had bronchitis and was fevery etc. Miraculously no one else got sick. He also had a stomach bug about a month later and h and I got it but the baby didn’t. Yay breastmilk? Hard to say why he avoided it.
My toddler got sick every two weeks for the first two months of my newborn's life. It made me super anxious, but the baby never caught a cold. We did lots of hand washing and keeping them separate when feasible.
