We are in the middle of converting our breezeway into a entry/mudroom/laundry room. We're having the floors installed today and I'm working from home and keep creepily peeking through the window to see how everything looks. When we bought the house the room was listed as a family room, but we already have a living room, and the laundry was in the kitchen, so we have always planned to convert this room into laundry. We already had the plumbing run out there, painted the walls (still need to do the trim), and installed new light fixtures. On Monday the new washer/dryer and utility sink will be installed. We will also be building a bench and built in storage because the house currently doesn't have a coat closet. Here are the before and current pictures. The new floors are 12x24 grey porcelain tiles.
That's going to be such an awesome space! It's crying out to be a mudroom/laundry area. Will you put shelves above the laundry? I like the bold blue, it livens up the space!

Thanks!
We bought 2 Ikea Pax units to put opposite the washer and dryer. One is going to act as a closet to hold our winter coats, and the other has shelves/baskets for storage. The utility sink we bought also has a cabinet underneath for storage, so I'm thinking we probably won't need extra shelves.
Thanks! The color is Deep Breath by Behr. I'm glad it turned out well, because I went to the store thinking I was going to get a different color and then just picking that one out and going with it, haha.

I’m glad you posted the color. I love it and was thinking of using something similar when we do our pantry.
Your space looks great, it was clearly destined to be a laundry/mudroom!
