Hey TamiTaylor , any insight into when 2021 summer Alaska DCL itineraries will become available?
Disney announced summer 2020 itineraries in February of this year so I would expect something similar for summer 2021. So anytime between now and then I guess is fair game. I will definitely update whenever that does get released.
TamiTaylor, Thanks! Have you ever done an Alaska cruise? I'm not really into cruises (just prefer other ways of travel and I went on a cruise 10 years ago and didn't like it). Do your customers love them? Have you had many that didn't enjoy it?

I have not done an Alaskan cruise yet but it is something we are planning on doing with my in-laws for my MILS next big birthday. It is a bucket list item for the both of us. We are about 2.5 years out for that birthday.
I have clients that have gone on regular DCL and other lines cruises but not to Alaska. I am dying to plan one for someone so I can live vicariously through them.
Tami, sorry to hijack your thread but I was wondering if you can book Disney trips outside the US. What do you know about Disney Tokyo? We live in Seoul so round trip airfare is about $70 per person right now due to a trade war btwn Korea and Japan. Might make for a decent priced Thanksgiving weekend. How big is Disney Tokyo, can it be done in one full day?

De-lurking to talk about Tokyo Disney-I went this past March.
There are two parks: Tokyo Disneyland (which is about 90% the same as Disneyland in California-there are two rides that are unique to this park) and Tokyo DisneySea. You absolutely need at least one day per park (unless you just skip Disneyland). There is no park hopping UNLESS you get a three or four day ticket (and then you can only park hop on day 3/4)
Tokyo DisneySea is the most beautiful Disney park in the world. I could have easily done two or three full days there and still not see every thing. It is enormous and things are really spread out. Disneyland you only need one day, assuming you've been to California or the Magic Kingdom-most of the rides are just about identical to the US ones, except they are in Japanese.
The parks in Tokyo are the most crowded in the world-we were there on a "light" and a medium day, and it was as crowded as a level 8 day in Florida. The lines for the premiere attractions were 4 hours+, lines for the Pirates of the Caribbean-type rides were anywhere from 20-60 minutes.
The fast pass system is the old paper ticket system (like Disneyland CA), the best rides run out early though (usually before noon). We were able to get 3-4 fast passes per day before they were all gone-you have to plan your strategy very carefully.
I have a LOT of tips so feel free to PM me or ask questions. One major thing to know is that unlike the US parks, where as long as you are on line before the park closes, you get to ride-they close the queues for the major rides early (sometimes 2-3 hours prior to closing, so you can't use that strategy). Also the shops only stay open a few minutes past closing and the shops are PACKED the entire day.
