Electrical and mechanical got roughed in. Shower arrived today, and plumbers finish their stuff Monday Windows and doors are in Siding is up - we had to match our existing cedar siding and evidently its $40 a board!! Opening to create the hallway has been opened up
Its been a louder week than most, which is a bit stressful. Hit a slight snag in that our existing floors have subfloor, three layers of linoleum, and pergo. We dont want to match the floor height because of all that, so it'll be a bit of an awkward transition. The plans were also slightly off on our hallway location, so to fix we are going to a 32" hall instead of "36, which the inspector verbally approved.
Next week we should get an inspection after the plumbers finish. Then insulation, sheet rock, the concrete patio and septic drainfield are on the short list.
I guess I could have shut the laundry door. Oh well. It's white with a glass upper, no grids.
Good news, my bank is refunding any fees the contractor incurs as well. All squared away, though I did have to schlep two children to their shop and to get some beer as a peace offering but oh well.
