I really want a leather sectional in our "new" living room. I've fallen in love with this one -- it's pricey, but it gets great reviews online. I really like this color too ("Annata Smoke").
There will be room for two occasional / lounge chairs on the left side. I haven't gone to see how comfortable it is, but I really like the look of this one:
How do you think it would look to have the brown leather chairs with the grey leather sofa? Should I try to find upholstered chairs instead?

I like that combination a lot. I also think white or cream leather chairs in the right style could work, but would stay away from black.
We had cognac leather armchairs and a dark grey fabric couch in our living room for the past 7 years though, so I obviously don’t see a problem.
DH wants only leather moving forward thanks to kids and cats and I will be leaning towards cognac I think. Maybe navy for an armchair. I like that grey a lot though.
I like the color combo. I think you will be fine as long as you bring in lots of different textures to break up all the leather - pillows, throws, etc. and maybe a brightly colored coffee table (not brown wood).

Personally, I would do fabric just to have some different texture in the space but I think from a color perspective it would work. And agree with @cosmoswife to not have a brown wood coffee table and to bring in texture with pillows, throws, etc.
Also, if that chair is from West Elm, I can tell you it's pretty comfy. Not, I want to sit in it 8 hours comfy, but definitely comfy. We looked at the slope stools for our island, but the back was too low. Love to the looks of that line, though!
