So a few years ago our landscaping desperately needed some help so we basically topped our rock landscaping with mulch to tidy it up. It looks fine but I'm ready to do some redesigning and I need the rock gone. Renting a dumpster seems overkill size wise and it's not cheap. Preferably I'd like to do one area at a time because this is going to be time consuming but I can't figure out how to dispose of the rock. I have a wheelbarrow to help haul but what can I put it in? I can get an extra trash can from garbage company but worried the rock is too heavy. Any ideas?
Offer up the rock for free on Nextdoor or FB buy/sell/trade each time you do it. Haul it to the front and leave it somewhere people can take it, either in the wheelbarrow or on a tarp or something. You could also note in your post that you’ll have more as you work through the project, someone might be up for the whole amount and even help or at least you’d then have one person to communicate with.
