We're replacing our flooring which currently is mauve ceramic tile in our kitchen and carpet in our living room. We plan to install Luxury Vinyl throughout the kitchen, living room and hallway and will be replacing the baseboards and hallway doors. Our current situation is pretty much all over the place. Our kitchen cabinets are a light oak cabinets with a white counter top. This is a photo that most matches our current cabinets. (NOT my house). The current baseboards in the kitchen match the cabinet colors while throughout the house, we have a darker walnut type baseboards as well as windows. (Previous owners updated the kitchen, hence the two different colors schemes here.) Following? Thanks. We will also repaint the kitchen and living room, hallway one color so we have one cohesive look. I'm trying to go away from the warmer look of the oak, but I can't settle on what color flooring to get that won't clash, so I think it's inevitable. So I'm stuck. If anyone has any suggestions, I'm all ears.
This may be an option, but then we would need to do white baseboards and doors, but again, it looks so warm in the kitchen but different in the living room.....this is the same house, fyi
