Goes into effect Oct 7.
Strollers must be folded if you are using the tram. Previously, they allowed unfolded strollers in the first and last tram cars as long as you removed your child for the ride. If you cannot fold (or you refuse to fold it) you can now use the new walkway from Mickey & Friends/Pixar Pals parking structure to downtown Disney.
I think this is a good move. Are ECVs or Wheelchairs also using the first and last tram car?
Yup, thats where they can access the tram via the ramps. If it is really busy, they bring out the shuttle bus that can fit more. It should speed up the boarding process and the new walkway is really nice.

The new walkway is nice (I accidentally got to experience it last week when we were there because I didn’t want to take the tram since both boys had fallen asleep after the parade). Can you only enter the pathway from Level 2 of Pixar structure? What happens if you are parked on Mickey and Friends (I assume you just walk through and take the Pixar elevator to Level 2)?

You can either walk through the garage or take the escalator down to the plaza and then go up the escalator to the walkway. All the levels are connected but it might be safer and faster to take the escalator down from Mickey and friends and then up go to the Coco level too access the walkway. Im heading there in a few hours so I can scope it out.

Thank you! Let me know your thoughts...I always go solo with my two young boys (almost 5 and nearly 3yo) and always have my double BOB stroller. I doubt I will be taking the tram anymore...if I am going through the hassle of folding up the stroller then I will just take the Monorail into the park (which is what we do most of the time and then take the tram on the way back).

They have pedestrian walkways on the new car bridges connecting the new parking garage. I parked in the top level of Mickey today and saw a small sign directing pedestrians to the new elevators and escalators.
