Text of Trump's tweet at 8:38 this morning. I didn't see it (yet) on Unfollow Trump but I clicked on his page and sure enough, it was there.
As I have stated strongly before, and just to reiterate, if Turkey does anything that I, in my great and unmatched wisdom, consider to be off limits, I will totally destroy and obliterate the Economy of Turkey (I’ve done before!). They must, with Europe and others, watch over the captured ISIS fighters and families. The U.S. has done far more than anyone could have ever expected, including the capture of 100% of the ISIS Caliphate. It is time now for others in the region, some of great wealth, to protect their own territory. THE USA IS GREAT!
I really think he's lost it. IT reminds me of the man behind the curtain in the Wizard of Oz. But more so the scarecrow without any brains.
And when did he destroy and obliterate Turkey before?
I'm really concerned about us deserting Kurdish forces. This is awful. Graham is right about the messaging it sends. We're basically authorizing the slaughter of thousands. But America First, so who gives a fuck, right? This makes me sick.

So he's threatening to 'destroy and obliterate' another nation's entire economy. He is sounding as unhinged as Kim Jong Il.
This was exactly where my brain went. Look out the window to see if everything has turned green.
I live in the PNW (in a green house no less) so it would be hard to tell. Greenery (and moss) are rampant. ;P
As soon as I typed that I realized I could look outside and see only green. We're at the height of rainy season. There's an empty parking lot outside my windows, and it went from being new to green in 2 months. I'm pretty sure moss is growing on my teeth.

Words cannot describe how big my eyes got reading this tweet!
House Democrats eager to protect the whistleblower are considering testimony at a remote location and possibly obscuring the individual's appearance and voice — extraordinary moves to prevent Trump's allies from revealing the identity.
Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham on Monday said he expects bipartisan, veto-proof sanctions against Turkey if it attacks the Kurds in Syria. Graham also said Congress would call for Turkey's suspension from NATO if they attack Kurdish forces.
So I guess Lindsey Graham is playing right into Trump's directive of obliterating and destroying Turkey's economy after all.
ETA: I don't know what's real or sincere or an act or a double-cross anymore with Trump and his 'loyal' defenders.

Open Skies doesn't really get much intel, but it's a huge diplomatic tool for the world. It's unclassified, so I know quite a bit about it (you can google it). Our pilots shoot vodka with Russian pilots. If someone doesn't have the aircraft to fly over our skies, we fly them. 34 countries, many of them of little importance militarily but allies are allies. There's no reason to pull out other than his tiny finger feelings of inadequacy.
ETA The whole goal is transparency, not intel. That's the thing that scares Trump most. He's the least transparent president in recent history.
