Would it be pretty nutty to plan a one-day visit to Galaxy's Edge the week of Christmas? Like, on a scale of insanely busy to packed in like sardines, how busy would it be? I was thinking maybe that Monday, 12/23. Plan B would be 12/26, but that seems even more busy maybe?
DH's 40th bday is in early Jan and doing an OOT trip without our kids isn't in the cards at the moment. We'll already be in Orlando that week for the holiday (staying with family)...my parents suggested watching the kids for a day so DH and I could go to Disney or something. DH is a huge Star Wars nerd, so I was kind of thinking to focus the kid-free day around that. Alternative would be Universal/Harry Potter stuff...which he's a nerd about that but I'm a bigger HP nerd than him...so it feels almost selfish to do that as a surprise for HIS birthday.

I say do it, especially if you can go kid free! I agree there is no great way to know how ROTR will impact crowds. However if you are willing to wait in some lines I say go for it. I would check your possible dates for any open ressies if you are interested in Oga’s, Savi’s or a Droid. I would keep checking if there is nothing available right now.
