I want to watch the post game chatter, but H just had to switch over to the sports ball game. But I suppose that I live here now, I should care that WE WON.
Hmmm a test for warren. How to deal with direct pushback.
And this is where Harris shines - she didn't back down until her point was good and made. This is why I think she edges Warren out for me. I just wish she had more time to showcase that on these stages.
I could picture her wiping the floor with Trump in a debate.
Clearly taxes will go up but costs will go down because there are no premiums. Just say it. I know the sound bite sucks, but just make it clear and move on.
Jumping in a day late, but what she needs to do is get a concrete example for her answer.
"The average American family making $65,000 per year spends $647 per month on health insurance premiums. They also average $3214 in out of pocket health care costs every year, for a total of nearly $11,000 in yearly health care spending. That's more than what most people spend on their mortgage. When you're middle class, THAT is unaffordable. Under my plan, that family would save $7800 per year. Just imagine what they could do for their family with that amount of money in their pocket! They won't have to worry about being billed for health care, or whether or not to take their child to the ER, knowing they'll get hit with hundreds or thousands of dollars in medical costs that they don't have."
Boom, done. If you look at the numbers, you'll see that their taxes are likely going up $3k/year in order to pay for it, but they really are saving a ton and not having to worry about health care costs.
