This confirms what I've been noticing. It makes me so angry and sad that she is being ignored. I want her to win so badly, but I can't see how it would happen at this point.
Apart from donating more money so she can buy the publicity that others get for free, what is there to be done here? It's rage-inducing and there has to be something that can be done.

This is why I think it’s significant that California moved up its primary this year. She has name recognition here and if she wins the largest state by population, the narrative will change. Unfortunately, there are a lot of OTHER states also voting that day (I believe it’s Super Tuesday) so, yes, the lack of media coverage matters.
But she has to win here if she has any chance at all. (And she’s my pick!)
Ok, I read it. And now sharing it far and wide. I knew about some of these (the poll they put Buttigieg on instead of her, for example), but not others. It's just so fucking frustrating. She has been my top pick since before she announced and I hate that she got less air time in this last debate too. I really want to see her go far (all the way, preferably).
I see her as a more solid choice against Trump. It is MADDENING that every white (female or male) liberal I know has just gone all in on EW and pretty much as soon as she announced!!
I have been and continue to be all in for Harris. I admit, I haven’t watched the debates and don’t watch news but read a ton. I’ve been unhappy with how she’s been characterized since very early on, but it hasn’t changed my opinion on her.
This. I was talking to our local organizer about this, and they are definitely feeling the frustration. Another vol said she’s had several people ask, “Who?” when they call.
Lucky for me (and good for Kamala!), I spoke to people who were enthusiastic about her today. Almost everyone I talked to was supporting her (or she was on their top 3 list).
thanks for sharing this. I shared it on FB just now. I really want it to be Harris, but have seen how little she is mentioned (outside of this board where we talk about her often). I had no idea there was such an assault on her going on in the media.

I didn't want to read it but I'm glad I did. DH & I both noticed she got very little speaking time at the last debate. We've been #TeamHarris since the beginning although we have ebbed and flowed on Warren - I truly believe Harris has what it takes. My primary vote will 100% be going to Kamala.
I've been seeing far too many men (including MOC) talking down about her too as well. Her support base is primarily white women. Well, duh. 75% of our population is white and more than half of those are women. Be GLAD that white women are supporting her. The problem is that they're not sharing that WOC support her in large numbers as well. I was at two separate events for her in Seattle. While I saw that there were plenty of white faces there, both male and female, the percentage of POC, primarily WOC, present spoke the truth as to the actual makeup of her supporters. Seattle is less than 10% black but the folks showing up to hear her speak made crowds closer to 50% black.
I think it's sad and telling that even MOC are denigrating her supporters, and wrongfully so. I guess women still have to "age out" before they could be considered viable.

Many of my friends in Berkeley were Team Kamala, and that included a couple that has old Bernie Sanders bumper stickers (plural!) on their cars.
I haven’t found anyone in DC yet that likes her best, but I have found a living breathing Biden supporter. And one of my friends in NYC who has been loudly supporting her Facebook since before her announcement, just announced after the debate that he’s switching to Team Buttigieg.
Sigh.
My primary is last so I’ve not really adopted any one candidate as my favorite, but I’m angry that the current trend suggests not only that she won’t be one of my choices, but that she may not last through Super Tuesday.
I read the article and it’s really good. The point about the coverage after the CNN town hall on LGBT issues was something I noticed as it was happening. All coverage was about Warren’s zinger, but Harris really shined with her substantive answers. I think it is unfortunate how little is known of her history on LGBTQ rights outside California, but she was truly a trailblazer there.

In my circle(s) I have many (7?) former 45-voters who ‘wanted something/ someone different’ 🙄🙄🙄 but are really embarrassed about their vote, & are open in 2020. I’ve gotten two completely sold on Kamala, but No One is in for EWarren & her ‘socialist’ policies! They won’t vote for her in a general, regardless of how displeased with Trump they are. I wish more people would open their eyes to this!

We've talked quite a bit on this board about the myth of these voters who move back and forth and the folly of focusing on them in terms of candidate selection.
The above doesn't change that I've also been extremely disappointed in the (lack of) coverage of Harris.

I don't think swing voters are a myth, I think people just want them to be. My own FIL is one. In a recent conversation with DH, he said he hates Trump and who did DH think the dem nominee was going to be? Dh said Warren probably, and FIL said he didn't like her and will probably not vote then. The only dem he likes is Biden.

I don't think anyone thinks that NO swing voters exist. It's just that they're not necessarily a large enough segment of the population to worry about wooing at the expense of alienating the base.

Right. It's the debate over wooing swing voters vs increasing turnout.
I don't think there need to be a large number of swing voters to make them important to an election. See: the small margin by which Trump won Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania.
I will pass on letting a Trump voter have any say in how I think about voting in the Primary.
Is your priority not to get Trump out of office, whatever it takes? If so, why *wouldn't* you listen to the people who previously voted for him who are now looking for an alternative? I said this in another thread, but it isn't just about the four years of the next term. I don't think Ginsburg will survive another administration, and we certainly don't need to lose yet another Supreme Court seat to the GOP.

Because I can't trust the judgement of someone who already voted for that buffoon once...who is to say they won't just do it again?
And then we are stuck with someone who will likely not actual get the votes from these people, and who will also not inspire confidence or excitement from people on the D side. So...we lose again.
Throw in Tulsi running third party...and, well, we're fucked.
