Anyone getting the tread or using the app with a treadmill, I am not a runner but just took a walking class with Oliver and I loved him. He’s adorable.
I use the app to run when I’m traveling. I like Rebecca Kennedy, Salena Samuela, Matty Magiacomo and Olivia Omato. I can’t stand Olivia on the bike but I like her runs. I generally stick to fun runs b/c I am not a runner.

I’m doing the marathon training program for outdoor runs. It’s good! My fave is Becs.

Bike is here.
I am livid.
10 minutes in and my pedal came off. Tried to screw it back on but the screw is stripped. Call tech support. The soonest they can get someone out is 12/3. I told them that won’t work and I need to see someone tonight or tomorrow first thing. They’re supposed to call me back.
Over $2k for a bike I can’t ride.
Was going to workout but instead I’m going to go eat pizza and wine, I guess.
They will hear from me if this isn’t fixed tomorrow.

icedcoffee, I would be livid as well - especially because waiting for the bike really sucks. I am sure they will take care of you, in my experience their customer service has been really great.
I got my bike delivered in the Seattle area snow storm earlier this year and it was delayed twice - I almost cried real tears, but understood because I couldn't get up/down my street either. They were extremely accommodating when the delivery actually happened.
I also had to reach out on my referral bonus and they provided great customer service for that. I hope they take good care of you.
I have to ask - did you get the actual van? I was so sad to get mine delivered in a stupid plain white van. First world "problem" I know.

Mine came in a freaking Enterprise truck. LOL
I do t even know who to call at this point. They said they’d call me later tonight or tomorrow. Eff that.
Ugh icedcoffee that is so frustrating. I’m antsy about my wait too. Their website says they may use an outside company, but the guy at the store told me flat out they’d be Peloton employees bringing mine, so I have no idea.
Did they fit you to the bike and everything? My fear is that it’ll be an outside company and I won’t know how to set it to fit me and everything.

I’m sure the holiday is messing things up with scheduling service providers. I think a week is reasonable for a repair even if it weren’t the holiday. Hopefully they’re able to replace or fix then. Maybe you could ask for a discount on something for the inconvenience?

One of the two had a peloton shirt on, but I’m 90% sure he didn’t work for Peleton directly. He showed me through the screens a bit and roughly fit me, but it wasn’t super thorough. I’m glad I went in to the store for the trial.
I will say that I really struggled to clip into the pedals. I feel like maybe they were adjusted different than they were in the store. And then one flew off after 10 minutes which was terrifying.
Still no call back from them. I’m so angry. I’ve had a bit of wine to calm me down. I was so excited to get going today.
I called the store I bought it from so hopefully they can get someone out here tomorrow.

Yeah I’m sure it’s the holiday and I do understand that. I’m just super frustrated because it was delivered broken. And it’s ridiculously expensive. And I have a 4 day weekend and was hoping to jump start my fitness because my weight has actually started coming off the past couple days. Not all of this is Peloton’s fault, but I do expect something. A couple months of free subscription or SOMETHING.

Yes, I understand. Accidents happen, but I guess everyone has a different threshold for livid. But I do hope it gets resolved quickly and doesn't have too big of an impact on your fitness!
I wish I could do a Thanksgiving morning ride but since my bike won’t be here I’m going to try to do one of the live yoga classes on the app. If it looks like my timing will be off, I’ll do a random cardio one that’s on the app instead. Just thought it would be fun to try out a live class. P

icedcoffee I’ve heard mixed reviews on their delivery/setup service depending on who they use in the area. So sorry your bike isn’t working, I’d be so mad too!! I hope they resolve it to your satisfaction.

Yeah--from some of the stuff I've seen online this is fairly common. Especially with the pedal and threads stripping. I'm really frustrated. I guess just mostly disappointed because I was really excited. Kid in a candy store type of thing.
I think a week is reasonable if the bike were to break after some time, but this was literally 10 minutes in. I expect them to be out much quicker in this case. Especially considering the price. Corporate was supposed to call me back yesterday. They didn't. I called my local store who said they'd call me back. They didn't.
This morning I received an email survey about my delivery so I let them know.
I do expect something for my inconvenience and will probably push for a few months of my subscription for free. I had to leave work early yesterday for delivery and it seems like I'll have to do the same next week for repair.

I’m honestly surprised they haven’t made changes to this delivery and setup service since so many have issues. As you said, for the cost everything should be top notch and they should be immediately responsive. Definitely push for some free months.

icedcoffee, I hope it gets resolved ASAP! I will say that clipping in and out is SUPER hard for me. To be honest, I leave my shoes clipped in. Mostly because my DD's bedroom is next door to the room I have the bike in and they're also kind of loud to clip in, I work out super early morning.
I have also read not the best reviews about their contracted delivery service. I would absolutely make a request some type of compensation for the crappy delivery experience.

200+ rides later and I still feel like I might snap my ankle clipping out. It’s either loosened up or I’m just used to it now bc I feel like it’s better than it used to be

Update-ish. They're coming Saturday late in the day. Still not great, but better than next Tuesday. They added 2 months of free subscription to my account so basically $80 savings for me.
Still annoyed though. Haha.
I'm sad to hear it doesn't get easier to clip in and out! They should come up with a better way!

Glad you got a response.
Will they extend your 30 day trial to account for the time you could not use?

I'm not sure. That's a good question though. I would imagine they will if I push them on it.

There’s a way to loosen the screw under the pedals so the clip out isn’t as difficult. It’s easy and there’s a YouTube video on it. Some people just leave the shoes clipped in full time if they’re the only ones using the bike.

An easier way to clip out is to press your toes down and wiggle your foot like you are trying to squish a bug. It’s still loud but the easiest way I’ve found.
