If she's worried about getting sued for saying the name--does it have to be a living president? My Law and Order law degree didn't cover this scenario.

I would guess based on her age that it was sometime in the late 60s to 70s. Probably not as far back as Kennedy. Possibly Nixon or Ford. Maybe as late as Reagan or Bush Sr., but I suspect earlier than that.

Is this another story from Tanqueray? (IG is blocked at work.) I read yesterday's chapter about the stripper who's panties they put itching powder in and had to investigate. She referenced The Longest Yard, and there's only 2 women in that: Anitra Ford and Bernadette Peters. Then I went down a rabbit hole trying to find out if Peters was ever a stripper. No luck, but the mind boggles.

Since Peters started acting as a child, the Internet seems to be agreed that it’s Anitra.
