The one I have to watch every year is The Family Stone. DH hates it and think it's depressing (it is sad, but poignant and also uplifting at the end, I think).
I do appreciate a good cheesy holiday movie, but I think what draws me to this one is that it deals with harder stuff and some of the complexities that surround people at the holidays.
Scrooged (not sure it's been mentioned yet - c'mon people!) The Ref, The Santa Clause, the 1950s Alastair Sim A Christmas Carol, 1990s Little Women
All the classics already named above (e.g., Miracle on 34th, Christmas Vacation), as well as Lethal Weapon (and yes Die Hard). When Harry Met Sally & Trading Places for NYE.
We watched Klaus on Netflix and it was really cute. I also like a handful of cheesy Hallmark type movies like The Most Wonderful Time of the Year and Crazy for Christmas.
I still love One Magic Christmas. Anyone remember that one?
My H looooves that one. I think it is good, but really depressing for too much of the movie. It's too stressful. lol
I don't know if I have ever met a Christmas movie that I didn't like....oh, except for the gratuitously crass movies. I pretty much enjoy all the others...b&w, cartoon, stop motion, cheesey, musicals, whatever.
It's been 11 hours since this thread was started and it has not yet become a Love Actually debate (classic vs. sexist). Bravo!
One of my group chats comprised of me, another woman and a man, was having this debate recently. The other woman was pro-Love Actually, I was against. We were lobbing points back and forth and I could see the man typing and was like, dude, stay out of this. Then he responded:
I would explain to you both why it both is and isn't a great film but I'm saving that for my sequel, "Well, Actually."
Muppet Christmas Carol (DVD, not streaming version!) The Bells of St. Mary's and Going My Way The Bishop's Wife Meet Me in St. Louis We're No Angels - Humphrey Bogart, Aldo Rey, Peter Ustinov, Basil Rathbone … This is probably my very favorite Christmas movie.

We're going to see Meet Me In St Louis at the movie theater on Sunday. I can't wait for Sunday to be here...I'm like a kid (or me) at Christmas! lol
Miracle on 34th Street (the good one, not the 1994 version) White Christmas Scrooge Scrooged Patrick Stewart's A Christmas Carol Muppet Christmas Carol

Did you ever see the remake, "The Preacher's Wife" with Whitney Houston? It's really good, too.

Muppet Christmas Carol *WITH* When Love Is Gone. I'm holding onto my DVD copy that has the version you can play with that song and don't have to exit out to a special feature or search YouTube.
I also really like Santa Claus is Comin' to Town (when Santa and Mrs. Claus get married is really sweet, I think) and the Prep and Landing elves. My daughter always liked that their names were Lanny and Wayne, since her dad's name is Wayne.

I have seen it but for me, nothing comes close to Cary Grant, Loretta Young, and David Niven. I may or may not have a long-standing crush on Cary Grant.
My all time favorite is “A Christmas to Remember” with Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton. My mom, sister, and I used to watch our VHS copy of it every year and play the soundtrack while making cookies. I can only find it on YouTube now so I haven’t actually watched it in a few years.
For the longest time, I swore I was the only human being on earth who remembered this! lol

What else is there besides Bad Santa?!
Because I'd love to see more crass Christmas movies.
LOL I can't think of any at the moment, but I know there are more.
They were the only Christmas movies that one of our old neighbors would watch, and he would talk about them just to annoy me, since he knew that they were the only ones that I didn't like.
