I wouldn’t invest a ton of money into a stand. At 6, it’s more likely (at least where I live) that he will be playing coach-pitch. After a certain number of strikes, they may let him hit off the tee. So I would assume that some tee practice might be useful, but parent pitching might be more useful (maybe get a bunch of balls too).
These seem similar to the tees our rec league uses, it’s good that the height is adjustable.

This is the one my 10 year old daughter’s travel team coach uses for practices. If he takes to baseball he should be using a t as a training aid very long term. My stepfather coaches HS and has them use ts in practice all the time to work on batting form. They have a reputation for being for the little kids, but they’re actually an important tool at almost any age.
We got one of these to use with my son. You can hold it still at first then start by moving it to them. Also they will be pitched to even in tball it blew my mind.

I'd get just a good basic tee, but don't consider them useless. Even older kids practice with tees; it's not something you really outgrow when not playing T-ball.
I also second the hit stick. DH helps out with DS’ coaches pitch team and that thing lives in his car all summer along with all of the other baseball gear.
