You would think that I'd remember how to do this, especially since we have had a lot of posts about this lately. Whatever. I'm tired.
Anywho. D has been devouring his pouches and we would like to move him towards real food, particularly things I dont have to spoon feed him. What am I supposed to start with? Any pro tips? I'm semi concerned about allergies to soy, dairy and eggs based on his previous issue with formula and possible eczema.

We do "smushables" for lack of a better term. Things like veggies that are cut long and thin or smallish that have been cooked within an inch of their lives, like sweet potatoes, boiled and cooled green beans, smashed peas, carrots, etc.

I cut them thin and/or small and steam them and let him eat those (apples, pears, sweet potato, potato). Going to do zucchini too. I took a small piece of banana and smooshed it last week and let him eat it himself. He also liked the soft parts of bread torn into small pieces.
