The same poster also had 2 separate threads asking advice on whether or not to take the same job, so I mean this without snark - I am not sure she knows she can make changes to the original thread and continue the conversation in the same place.
OP here. I posted within a thread and it got lost, so I started a different thread.
and for the job post, they were over a week apart.
sorry, didn’t realize I had offended the board police and committed the crime of posting new threads. I’ll see myself out.
and if you ever wonder why new people don’t always stay, well maybe unwritten rules and calling people out on minor things could be part of the problem.

lol no one was rude here. It's just generally easier to follow the whole story and see what others have already said/suggested if you (general you) just update the OP and post a bump post in the replies so it jumps back up into the current day's list of active posts. You can KOKO doing what you're doing, you'll just get more quality responses when it's all in one place.

There are no rules, but there are norms that people generally follow and posting 3 threads about the same topic is not one of them so I was starting to think you were unaware editing was an option. You can do whatever you want, but if you're asking people to compare multiple items it's easier to have them all in the same thread or else people won't know what they are comparing them to if they haven't read all 3 separate threads. I also think it would have been easier to discuss the merits of the job situation if they included the comments about it people had made previously, but again, you can do whatever you want. It would be silly to leave over someone's opinion about your posts, anyway. If everyone did that there would be no posters left. I know I've posted my share of things that people have had opinions about over the years, lol.
