Dear DD's Gym Teammates The screaming dog pile of happiness last night when DD finally got her backwards roll to pushup perfect was hilarious and a huge boost for DD. You girls rock
Dear Mom's and Grandma's of DD's teammate You are the most awesome ladies ever. DD had her own little cheering section last night from you. I think you are almost as invested as I am in her getting her skills. Appreciated gym mom
Dear Tax Organizer I really hate doing you. Me who's hand hurts from signing my name too many times

Dear local mom FB group -
Please come through with a recommendation for a pediatrician. I need a new doctor for the kids (independent practice was bought out and they went with the hospital system out of our insurance network) and everybody I know uses one of two practices. The one is now out of our network and the other has only female doctors. I have nothing against female doctors, but DS1 is closer to puberty than not and I'd like to have a male option in the event DS1 feels uncomfortable with a female doctor. Having to choose a doctor on random for my kids is giving me anxiety, but I might not have another choice unless FB mom's group can give me something.
Signed, DS3 has baby asthma so I really cannot put this off any longer

Dear Paralegal,
I'm glad you calmed down after breaking down into tears when I told you I was going to have to modify the way you are paid. I'm glad once you calmed down you are realizing you are making more money, not less money. You did earn it, so the thanks was not needed, but I appreciated the apology for the complaining and tearful journey we had to go through to reach understanding and happiness. May this never happen again.
Signed, Boss who wishes you were better at math
Dear Exec Assistant,
Thank you for understanding what I was saying right away and for not crying.
Signed, Relieved
Dear Noom,
Maybe you're going to be the ticket to me loosing weight? I really like your app!
Dear self, Just go ahead and give yourself a HUGE pat on the back for today. The company-wide award announcements went perfectly, everyone had a genuinely good time, and the theme came together exactly how you envisioned it. The stress and late nights paid off on this one. Nicely done, rockstar. Signed, Me
Dear execs, I really appreciate you throwing me an extra week of PTO since I earned a spot on the President's Club trip, but I run it so it's not really a prize to attend. But... I would kind of really like a free all-inclusive vacation with a guest of my choice too... Let's be real, I'm not going to ever be able to afford to use that PTO on that level of vacation myself. I know it's too late to push back now and I'm not sure how to bring that up next time around. Signed, Grateful, but a little disappointed

Dear self, Last night playing basketball with beau should be a wake up call at how out of shape you are. Get back into working out. Signed, Still a little wheezy
Dear President Trump, Thank you for making the 24th a Federal holiday. Signed, Happy employee with an extra day off
Please make DD and DH well. Please do not get DS and myself sick.
Sincerely, Hopeful with Tamiflu
I'm sorry to hear they both have influenza. I am not a medical professional, but Tamiflu has some bad/scary side effects that would make me personally not want to use it for me or my family (when there are other available treatments - see below). The big one is hallucinations that cause physical harm (e.g., people jumping out of windows or falling down stairs, etc.)
In case you don't see my other post... Get Oscillococcinum and give that to them according to the instructions on the box. It's best to not drink water 15 minutes before or after taking it (at least that's what I was told by a homeopath). Also give them elderberry (gummies or syrup), and vitamins C and D3. (And probably everyone in your family should take the elderberry and vitamins C and D3 to help you stay healthy.) Vitamin C can be taken to bowel tolerance. I buy a buffered sodium ascorbate powder that can easily be mixed into juice or water. Hope they are feeling better soon!
Thank heavens the first semester is over. DD is having a great freshman year, and DS pulled some good grades out of his back end. I feel we should celebrate since I think I earned some of these grades too.
Signed, Thankful for Christmas break.
Dear person I just hired.
Please don't just be using us until something better comes along. We hired you, so I am really hoping we don't put weeks of training into you, just for you to leave soon after. The second runner up was a solid candidate, so I hope we made the right choice.
PS. Dear director, we may have an opening soon, so I would really like to second candidate too.
Signed, trying not to think about this on my upcoming time off.
I hate you. Breaking the week before Christmas is so not cool (and yes that’s a pun). I have no desire to buy a new fridge this weekend yet here we are.
So freaking upset
Dear DH,
Guess we get to go buy a fridge as soon as possible after you come home. Also, why why why does this kind of stuff only happen when you are out of town. Every.single.time. It’s almost like it’s planned.
Thanks a lot for calling me 15 minutes after I called the 2nd canidate and told them they didn't get the job, to tell me you found something else. Nice. Now we look insane and the day I spent doing all the new hire paper work was wasted and this is not how I wanted to rush around before vacation. After you accepted Monday and did the paper work and background checks. #$%#$%^&n #$%^$^$%&
First - lovely that you called the second candidate at all. Most places just leave you hanging.
Second - I hope #2 takes the job! Back in 2002, I was offered 2 job within my company. Everyone advised me to take Job #1, so I called the hiring manager for Job 2 and said that, regretfully, I couldn’t accept his offer. 15 mins later, when I went to accept Job 1, the hiring manager told me he had no rec, never did... he offered me a job that did not exist. And I was about to be laid off with the rest of my department.
I quickly called the other manager, explained my situation, and he hired me on the spot. I worked for him until he resigned at the end of 2016. Not always rosy, but he was a good boss for a long time.

rere, I'm sorry what happened. Candidate #1 burned a big bridge doing that, so hopefully they thought of that before they called you. I hope that candidate #2 accepts! Maybe it will all work out for the better and candidate #2 will be the best in the long run.

Good luck!!
I call every one I interview. I think it's just polite.
I think number 2 will be great. He is actually a long time partner. Number 1 was a more natural fit, but I was concerned about longevity, rightly so I see. I just hate the timing for the other candidate since we had a history.
Dear Mother Nature, Please, please cooperate. It’s the first time I’ve been back to Quebec in 22 years. This is my favorite place on the planet. Airbnb is paid for, lift tix are purchased. Lessons and daycare are arranged. This is the only time I have off work.
6 trails out of 60 is not ideal. Please get better fast.
