I am in charge of re-doing a Youth Room at a church. It has been freshly painted and is getting new carpeting. The furniture (couch, loveseat, two recliners) are in great shape structurally, but the prints are pretty ugly.
I have been tasked with finding slipcovers for the furniture. Cheaper is better as long as it won’t fall apart in a week.
There are tons of options on amazon. There are some fun patterns too you could mix and match with brighter colors to make it a nice fun space.
Thank you!! I’m overwhelmed by amazon because there are SO MANY choices and price points. Are there any brands you would recommend or know to stay away from?

Honestly, I'd go to a local company that does upholstery and see if they'd be willing to give you a bargain for recovering the items or sell you a slipcover more cheaply. If you promise to promote them and advertise their services, maybe they'll either help you out or at least give you an idea of what to buy that would work best.

Unfortunately I don’t. I usually just look at the reviews and ratings in detail and I’d find a fun, bright pattern for the couch and coordinate the chairs with a brighter color.

I doubt that you'd get an upholstery company to do something like this. Small businesses get hit up all the time with the promise of exposure. Most established businesses know that exposure in situations like this is worthless. I donate to people/causes I like or have a connection to, so you'd probably be more successful seeing if anyone in your network is an upholsterer/knows one. Most of the cost of upholstery is labor which will more directly hit the business' bottom line.
Do you have any community college/trade schools in your area? If you do, you might be able to hire a student who would do it at a lower hourly rate for experience? If you have a theater program, you might find a set designer who does side gigs?
Really long shot: Have you looked at IKEA? They sell sofa covers for their sofas with removable covers. If one fits your sofas, that would probably be the least expensive option.
It's been several years, but in the past, I've used Surefit Slip Covers and been very happy. They stayed in place very well on their own and I didn't need to use any tricks, clips, folds, etc like I've seen with some other brands.
It depends a lot on the specific shape of the couch, but I used a 3 piece cotton SureFit slip cover on an old couch that we used to have, and it worked pretty well.
