Updates:
So good news: I did get the job offer, the recruiter just didn't call until after 5:00. I'm going to accept the offer. Now I just have to tell my manager that I'm leaving.
Bad news: My aunt passed away last night. My dad called this morning around 7:00, and I knew as soon as I saw his number on my phone. I'm so sad for her daughters, my cousins, who are right around my age. Her older daughter lived with her, so I'm sure it will hit her the hardest.
covergirl82, I'm so sorry about your aunt. Congrats on the new job!!
My chiro was running behind yesterday afternoon so my whole evening was rushed. I basically picked DD up from grandma we swung by the house for her to change, for me to make myself a to go box of chicken taco, and grab the kip trainer we were borrowing and rush out the door. We were home 5 minutes top to run DD to power tumbling. I didn't even care that I was eating at the gym as I had forgot my lunch so was beyond starving at that point. The worst part is the new assistant instructor for tumbling isn't great and DD sat for at least 10 minutes in between turns just sitting on a block waiting. I finally told DD that she needed to do anything else while waiting as it was driving me bonkers to just watch her do nothing for most of an hour. Good news is head instructor finally noticed and pulled DD into the experienced group the last 10 minutes of class and got DD to do 3 back handsprings by herself! I'm really missing the old assistant instructor at tumbling but she got a internship with Disney so left for Disneyland last week.
covergirl82, I am so sorry about your aunt, and congratulations on the job,
I am procrastinating at work. I have a fairly large task that might be needed. Boss wants to prep for it just in case, but I do not want to. It'll take a few hours to do, and if it is not needed I really don't want to do it.

So sorry for your loss covergirl82. This is a roller coaster of emotions week for you, so I hope you get a chance to relax/unwind when its over!
Our basement is finally dried out. I'm having a hard time focusing on work, which isn't a big deal today. Tuesdays are my weird days anyways since DD is home with me in the morning. I didn't get out of bed early enough to go to the gym. I'm hoping I can make it between helping DH load up the dehumidifier and picking the kids up. I finally weighed myself this morning for the first time since the renovations started and we moved. I am up 6 pounds. I think I am noticing the muscle loss more than the weight since I just feel flabby.
There is more bullish!t happening at DDs’ school, and my request to address it has so far been ignored. I would like to find another spot but we have to stick it out for a few more years.
In the midst of this, I received 3 separate requests to contribute to a baby gift for a family that just had their 10th (TENTH) baby. The parents are both doctors and they do absolutely NOTHING to contribute to the school or classroom requests. So I declined each and every request TYVM.
I slept for 3 hours last night. Apparently I’m cranky.
DD bailed on basketball today. Without telling anyone. Her school teacher found her hiding behind a solar panel pole and crying 30 mins after class started because she didn’t feel well. Girlfriend has a fever and a cough and is overall miserable.
Oh no! Did you take her to the doctor? I'd be worried about flu at this point with the aches, sudden fever, and feeling that poor : /
covergirl82,sorry to hear about your loss. And congrats on the job. You have had a crazy week and it is only Tuesday!
I did a thing yesterday - I signed up to run a marathon in early May. The farthest I have ever run is a half marathon 4 years ago and a 10 mile race this past November. I'm feeling intimidated right now because I don't know how I am going to get all of my runs in. I have a training program so I am going to focus on it one week at a time.

Didn't need to, luckily. She knocked out early, had a couple MOTN wake ups, and woke up this morning with her fever broken and is feeling okay today aside from a nasty cough.
Which.. sucks when you're trying to work from home.
