...Keto-ers, IFers, Noomers, general wellness seekers -- come on in.
I think my body is in hibernation mode. I wouldn't say I've plateaued, but I'm hanging on to a couple of pounds despite my best (OK, my decent) efforts. I also just feel kinda bloated all the time lately. I might need a diet change-up. More fiber, less protein or something. Any other good bloat remedies out there? I drink plenty of water and little else other than coffee.
I signed up for an 8 week boot camp challenge in an effort to restart my motivation. My husband, our BFF couple, and my third BFF are all doing it together so we are hoping to keep us all motivated and accountable. Since I have more experience, the meal planning for everyone is falling mostly on me which was a little overwhelming at first but now that I have it figured out it's pretty easy. And I am making my husband help with the weekly meal prepping on Sundays to make that easier during the week too.
I was happy to see that I had maintained my 10 lb weight loss since September through the holidays even though I ate a ton of goodies and didn't really workout.

I'm down 3lbs since I started last Monday, but I think a lot of that was water weight. Still a good way to start, especially considering I went to a wedding on Saturday and had a couple of cocktails and didn't log any of my food.
I've been pretty motivated with food and meal planning, and I'm going to start adding in exercise tonight. I have been really bad about exercising recently, and I'm recovering from an injury which had limited my activity. I'm going skiing with coworkers in three weeks (if my doctor clears me), and I want to be able to move the next day, lol.

Me and my wagon are doing pretty good. Haven't fallen off yet, lol.
I'm having one of those huge weight loss weeks that can only come with a complete reset after a holiday binge. It would be great if I hadn't ballooned right beforehand!
I'm in my busy season at work, scouts is kicking back up (I'm a GS troop leader), and my semester started today, so I'll be in a good place for the next 16 weeks, I think. I tend to do well when I'm busy/out of the house. If I'm at home for too long, the snacks start calling me. I just have to make it through Girl Scout cookie season without cracking. I had so many cookies come in and out of my house last year, it was indecent. I felt like I was walking into a dirty movie every time I walked into our front room filled with cases of cookies. Oh god, don't look!

Ugh. I tried to go to the gym today and forgot my sports bra. I ended up walking home (25 minutes or so) and did a core workout (very little space to do anything here). Oh, well.
I did my first week and lost 4 pounds. I struggle a bit with hunger but I am hoping better meal plans will help with feeling full. I have a really long journey so I am hoping to build long term eating patterns that are sustainable.

I'm just keepin' on keepin' on. I weigh on Friday. It will have been 7 months since I started, and I'm hoping to be well into the "last 15 to go" when I get on that scale. I'm surprised I'm not bored with my food choices. I eat pretty much the same thing every week for all meals and snacks and I don't even notice.
I am irritated by shirts right now. I am between a L and an XL at Loft (my go-to for shirts) and they both look stupid on me at this point in time. I haven't found a better choice re: sizing lately, so I just have to put up with it, I suppose. Perhaps once I get to my goal weight, the Ls will fit well.
I have been walking the lake by my house--2.5-3 miles when I go. I am also going to add in a trampoline fitness class soon (I'm having some scheduling conflicts in the next couple weeks). I am excited to try it.
I wish I could sleep more. H bothers me when I'm trying to go to sleep (or even when I'm asleep)--talking to me, banging around the bedroom, taking a shower, etc. I've talked to him about it until I'm blue in the face--other than sleeping in the guest room, I really don't know what it's going to take to change the dynamic. I'm worried about what it says about our relationship if I take to sleeping in the guest room, andplusalso, the MBR is my room too, so why shouldn't I get to sleep in the nice comfortable bed? Damn, dude.
I am excited for the progress of all of us in these threads. Weight, health, feeling good, self-care--it's so hard to maintain.

We're starting week 2 of Whole 30 and it's going well. We're both down about 5lbs, I can definitely see a difference in my belly - it's much smaller which i assume a lot of it was water weight and bloat.
TBH I am super frustrated. I put on 5-6 lbs this fall due to my out of control eating. I am not frustrated with that, it's my own fault. I have been totally ON POINT with my eating sine NY Day. I haven't lost an ounce.
I guess I have to reason it took 3 months to gain it so it'll prob take 5 to lose it, right?
I’m down 2 lbs for my first week. I did a good job tracking. However, I have to figure out my snacking better. That is where my wagon had 2 wheels of the road so all in all I’m happy with myself.
I work from home so it’s so easy to snack so I need to figure out healthier foods to eat besides 3 Oreo cookies and handful of Cheez-its. It was also helpful that I exercised at least 30 min everyday (between walking on off days and classes at the gym). I killed my gym workouts so I believe that helped get my wagon back on track.
I am up a pound. But still in the 170's. To me that isn't that bad. That means mostly all the damage I may have done during the holidays was only minor. Keep on Keeping on.
I’ve lost 2.5 lbs this week. It helps that my bestie is doing Whole 30 so no drinking for her which also means less for me lol. I walked every day this weekend even though it was chilly and windy.

I think I did okay. I tracked everything last week. Except yesterday’s hormonal binge. I don’t want to know the reality of that choice. I’m down maybe a pound. I will know for sure if it was water weight or not this weekend. Hard to tell as it’s currently shark week.
Quick question. I get 23 daily points on blue. Does that mean that over time if this does help me lose weight that I will have even fewer points in the future for maintenance mode to sustain my weight loss?
I fell off the wagon big time! I just went back to OTF yesterday for the first time since before Thanksgiving. It was definitely great to be back, but boy do I feel so out of shape for being out a month! I joined a weight loss challenge at work and am thinking about joining the one at OTF for a double challenge.

My biggest issue at the moment is that I am so ravenously hungry all the time. And I'll make good decisions, but inevitably end up finally killing that hunger with something sugary or otherwise terrible for me.
I've had a million healthy snacks this morning and I'm still starving. :::weeps:::

As you lose, your weekly points will go down. I started with 35 and now I get 28. Once you hit maintenance, I think you get 5 extra daily points.

This is my second week seriously doing WW. I have a LOT to lose, plus having twins stretched my stomach and gave me a weird kangaroo pouch. I’m trying to keep the motivation, but it’s really hard as a single mom to 3 young kids.

23 is the lowest it will go. If you start with more points, it does lower as you lose weight, but it will never be less than 23.
I switched from Blue to Purple on WW. I was doing okay on Blue, but after the holidays I needed a reset and I thought doing something different would help. I just started yesterday, but I was starving. I need to get a few more of the zero points foods (brown rice, quinoa) so I can bulk up my meals. I was up 2lbs on Sunday, but was still within my lifetime goal range.

This is typically me. I started intermittent fasting (using the Delay, Don’t Deny plan) and I am down 6 pounds and haven’t been hungry. I’m a convert for sure.

What hours do you eat? Do you follow it on weekends too?
I’ve changed my window several times to suit my hunger and social obligations. 10-4 or one day, 12-2 another (ate a decent sized meal and didn’t need to eat again). I do follow it on weekends. She talks about weekends not being special occasions, since they happen every week. We need to plan for them. Christmas can be a splurge, etc.

Thank you. I’m not sure what to think about the fact that I started with the lowest possible amount but hopefully it’s not going to make it harder for me to keep weight off if I do lose any.

I also started at 23 - I wanted to lose about 15 pounds (but wanted the structure) so I was not surprised. What did surprise me was losing weeklies as I lost weight. When those went from 35 to 28, I was displeased! A fellow member shared with me that she thought it was a "trick", as they don't point that out at the beginning, but we both managed to adjust! When I hit lifetime I went up to 26 points to maintain.
I am fully off the rails! I plan to go to a meeting today and my lifetime status will be gone - I squeaked through in December. I am struggling with paying again, but I think the accountability of meetings is what I need. (It is why I joined!) I also need to actually track my food, as I have taken two months off from doing that. I think I remember this feeling like this last January - an annoyance at "diet culture" and body expectations that seem arbitrary and more focused on women, etc. And yet, I need my clothes to fit.

The reduction in points as you lose weight makes perfect sense, though. The less mass you carry, the fewer calories you need to fuel your body, generally. (Like buying gas for an Expedition versus a Miata! lol) Of course for super active people, FitPoints can bridge that gap.
An aside, but has anyone watched "Brittany Runs a Marathon" on Prime? It's an Amazon original movie. I liked it a lot, and it has great messages about how you can want to change your body without hating yourself (which is the nuance lost in a lot of the anti-diet culture influencers) and how you can be health and fitness conscious without being an asshole about it. It's a good weekend watch!

I cried and cried and cried when I watched this movie. When she was obsessively weighing herself and running - been there, girl. SOB!
I'm on noom. I fell off the wagon over the holidays but I'm getting back on. I'm still done 7 pounds from when I started but I feel like I should be down more then again I keep falling off here and there.
Today has been a great day eating wise and hoping to continue it into the evening.

Yes! It was so good. I’m sad it’s not talked about more because I thought it was just a really great overall movie.

I"ve been back on the diet train since last week and its going pretty well. I am very disciplined at work during the day, its the evenings that get me. I have stopped my pop consumption and am taking a break from alcohol too so hoping that helps. I want to lose at least 30 before summer.
