Damn, Elizabeth! "Collectively, the men on the stage have lost 10 elections. Both of the women have won every race they've run in." (paraphrased slightly)

I legit teared up.
She had that shit locked and loaded. And she stuck the landing.
And honestly by and large the women in this race have lifted each other up.
And "Daddy." I get she's being folksy or whatever but FFS can we not? Otherwise I'm really happy with her tonight, but that just makes me crazy.
When I saw her at a town hall function she said it so much it made me cringe. 1) it sounded too well rehearsed, trying to make her like able and like a middle American. 2) it was creepy AF.
But her skin was for sure glowing (I was sitting eight next to her and kept commenting on it to my friend lol)
I am dying about Klobuchar talking about the Governor of Kansas like she’s her BFF and then almost forgot her name.
Now I’m actually really sorry I missed this because Laura and I are on a first name basis as of a few weeks ago and Im going to die petty. Context? Please tell me they were referencing her kick-ass Medicaid expansion deal!

She was talking about some women who beat prominent men in elections and mentioned Laura Kelly. Er, tried to. It took a while for her to spit out the name Kelly and didn’t say Laura, despite knowing she beat Kris Kobach. We all get brain farts but she was really awkward because she was gushing about her and then...so long until she could finally spit out the name.
Not to mention the Vietnam war was not in the lifetime of most voters. Not smooth.
I’m not watching the debate, but didn’t the Vietnam War end in the 70s? I thought historically older voters are more likely to vote than the 18-35 crowd.
We are now arguing how long ago 1990 was and my head has just exploded. Or, less generously, Bernie was trying to "Well actually" her.
He was correct though. She made an inaccurate statement.
Is 1990 somehow not 30 years ago? Or are we really going to start sub-dividing a year just to say "It was really 29 years and some change, so your point is completely invalid!" Because... ARGUING ABOUT THIS MATH IS MISSING THE POINT.

But, Warren said "I'm the only one on this stage who did this thing". Bernie said "I did that too though". And he was correct. Are you saying this is problematic?

I'm saying you and Bernie are being pedantic. "Problematic" would be how Bernie won that 1990 election by cozying up to the NRA.

In the last 30 years. He missed that part and apparently you did, too. Unless you are seriously claiming that 29 and some change is substantively different than 30 years.
