Ugh, yeah, that sentence was not well written, but I took it to mean that the photographers's intent is to break down old racist tropes of skin color.

I love it! Such great material for makeup manufacturers too!

The person labeled 4625 C made my jaw drop. Her skin is so evenly toned that she almost blends completely into the Pantone color behind her, except for the lighting shadows that form the outline of her shape. I could only dream of having such smooth, even and silky skin.
