I got a free trial with my paper white but right now I’m not seeing anything that looks great. Anyone read anything on kindle unlimited they want to recommend? I don’t like romance and I’m not big on sci-fi or mysteries but I am open to most other genres. I have been on a historical fiction kick lately.
All of my books are available on Kindle Unlimited--I've got a good mix of historical fiction that covers historical mystery, women's fiction, historical YA, and adventure/romance. My most recent books, the Stolen Crown Trilogy, are historical fiction with a lot of action, politics, intrigue, and a slow burn love story.
I read a lot by Bella Forest. They are witches, vampires etc. not scary but not plot heavy so you can easily read them quickly. I like the Harley Merlin series a lot. I just go through the suggestions and pick out what sounds good at the moment. If I don’t like it, no pressure to finish the book, just get another. I read very fast and a lot so Unlimited is great for me.

This was me, then I realized that all the books I signed out were linking to my kids tablets and their home page was a long scroll of shirtless man chests and heaving bosoms book covers. Oops. (I deleted their kindle apps).

There is a lot of junk, but some good ones too, I used to finish everything but now I don’t continue if I don’t like something. I have learned to let go. I tend to go for fantasy/historical/supernatural type books.
I liked The Vine Witch a lot.
The Shifting Tides series (Golden Age is the first one) was very enjoyable. That one I downloaded to the Kindle App on my phone and then the am free audio for it to listen on my commute.
I like most Jeff Wheeler.
Dept of Reproduction Management was interesting... still trying to determine how I feel about it.
Upstairs at the White House was interesting. A recollection of various Firdt Ladies by a chief ushers.
Better Than New by Nicole Curtis was an interesting look into her life and her Rehab Addict.
Maureen McCormick’s autobiography Here’s the Story.
Not Tonight Josephine by George Mahood is a fun book about a British guy and his friend who come to the United States to have a road trip across the country.
I loved An Olive Grove at the Edge of the World by Jared Guilan. It is a book about an American couple who purchased an olive grove in New Zealand and the adventures with that. This is one of my favorites.
I could never find anything good there, but it does seem like someone j retested in certain genres (like smut lol) would find stuff there. I have better luck with amazon prime reading and KU daily deals without subscribing.

Um ... yeah. So there needs to be a way to have different profiles! Or something. Amazon needs to figure this out.
