I currently live in Michigan in a swing district but we've been here about 3 years. Grew up in Northern VA, also lived outside Memphis, TN and in Toledo, OH for a while.
Illinois, but the downstate part that's all, "Get rid of Chicago!!!" like they think the rest of the state could possibly survive without its tax base.
We have that issue but with Seattle. People on the East side of the mountains hate us over here.
We moved here from California, where we had lived for something like 35 years. To say that it was culture shock would be an understatement. I felt like we had moved to another planet.

State of Chicago here. Yeah, we are fine seceding, until the pension issue really bites us in the ass.
PA, between Philly and Harrisburg. The town I live in is beyond red (I most certainly am not), but I work and socialize closer to Philly. Real estate and taxes were significantly cheaper when we bought our house, so here we are. Although, I'm pretty sure my immediate neighborhood leans blue.
