The only ads I've seen have been for Steyer (he's been running a ton of them here), and I always forget that he's still in the race.
I see ads for him and Bernie the most. I am not sure I have see any others on TV.
Velar Fricative, Dixville Notch is the weirdest fucking thing to me. So random, so old and white, so conservative. Ignore them. They are in the middle of fucking nowhere.
Question related to early voting, do we think any of the current top 5 are going to drop out before Super Tuesday? I don't want to early vote and then have the person I voted for drop out and I've lost my chance to vote for my second choice, you know?

I'd be shocked if any of the top 5 drop out before Super Tuesday. But I'd probably wait until closer to the deadline to vote juuuust in case.
I think Sanders and Pete will do well in NH but once we start getting into the West and South? I think Biden will pick up steam in the South.
This primary is going to be the death of me though. I know that I have a soft spot for Pete, but I am so tired of the lies out there. My Sanders friends were pushing Pete's statement about mandatory national service hard yesterday. Translating it into mandatory military service (even though he specifically said it would NOT involved a draft) and ignoring the fact that national service can mean a billion things other than military. Even in the US the Peace corps and Ameriacorps are all considered national service.
Not saying I am for or against it, just annoyed with the narratives.
I've seen that going around too. There's also a really weird Twitter based theme that his website is basically paywalled for giving your info. Like you can't see his stances until you sign on as a supporter. Which is just 100% false. It's like these people have never seen a pop-up before.

I have this same concern. We can start early voting tomorrow. Honestly the only one I’ve seen ANY rumblings about being low on money is Warren and I take that with a huge grain of salt because I saw it on twitter and I think Bernie twitter trolls want her gone the most because they view her as the group they could most likely take if she’s not in it. I think that logic is flawed though - yes I think they have the most similar policy positions and are viewed as both from the progressive wing. But I don’t think people are truly looking at policy that closely. I see tons of people saying Warren and if not Warren, Amy. Or Warren and if not Warren, Pete. I really think Bernie is at his ceiling of support in a lot of ways.
I think it’s going to be super close, close enough that Bernie has a higher % of the vote but Pete gets the same number of delegates. Then we get to listen to the Bros crying foul again for a week.

Agree 100%
Frankly I hope at least one of the non Bernie top people exit before Super Tuesday.
We really need to start consolidating. I’m panicking over the fact that the Bernie haters have too many options. I’d like it to be BIden or Buttigieg, but aside from that being unlikely, them dropping out likely means a Bloomberg surge, and he needs to go too.

What a fucking mess.
I suspect that the need for consolidation is why suddenly Bloomberg seems to be the candidate du jour. Among the top 5, for most voters there is another palatable Top 5 option if their person doesn't win, so there's a challenge with regard to picking the person to consolidate since it could go pretty much any way. Throw Bloomberg in there and and people are like, "Well, he's not like the other Top 5 candidates at all and is actually a billionaire with political experience, so fine, let's just pick him instead of having to choose between Biden and Buttigieg [or Warren and Sanders, or Klobuchar and Biden, etc. etc. etc.]." He's somehow liberal *and* moderate, so...
This election cycle has made me absolutely HATE that Iowa and NH are first and how much the media makes it seem like they’re THE states to watch. It was fun to see the caucus process live, but I’ve had it with given them such importance.
Some of the candidates being counted out, are the first choice for a lot of other people in the other states. How unfair to have your candidate counted out before you had your chance to help them with your support.

I think that since Iowa was such a cluster of fucks, it actually gave the candidates the ability to stay in through Super Tuesday without much harm done. I don't think any of them will leave.
Took my son (4) to vote, and we ran into my MAGA neighbor and her son (6). J was so excited. “We are going to vote!” he said. Neighbor’s kid said, “Donald Trump is going to be President again!” I quickly replied, “Well, voting is important. It’s good for you to see the process! Have a great day, neighbor!” Walking away, J shouts, “Donald Trump is a bad boy. He’s a bad boy! He hurts people!”

Yes. I have a friend who works in polling who is saying that the most recent debate was a major factor named in deciding votes today but no info about what voters meant by that. I’m guessing Amy will do well.
