Thankfully, DS bought a 15-pound bag at Costco weeks ago. I thought he was nuts, but here we are. We also have mostly full bags of bread flour and whole wheat flour, plus corn meal, just due to the fact that I bake bread regularly anyway. I think we'll be fine.

Some restaurants around me (los Angeles) are placing bulk orders for items from their restaurant supply places for the community. If you need some, contact a bakery or breakfast/brunch place to see if you can get in on their order
Target online is showing my local store in stock so I placed a Shipt order with a 5 lb bag and some other odds and ends I wasn't able to get at my other grocery store. Fingers crossed we get some!
I guess everyone is baking in their spare time because it is next to impossible to get any kind of basic baking supplies here. In 2 weeks, I haven’t been able to find yeast, brown sugar, regular sugar, chocolate chips, and finally just found flour at Costco (25 pounds! But I was able to give a lot away to my mom and friend, so it worked out ok).

I wasn’t able to get it from grocery delivery last week but did get it this week. Now all the stores are out of yeast, I’ve heard. I had trouble getting eggs as well, but a friend was able to get some at Costco and brought some to us.
I've been looking for bread flour for almost 3 wks now and can't find it anywhere. I like to bake and always have all purpose and white whole wheat on hand, but also like to make bread from scratch (will have to make due with AP flour, I guess). Since I'm now working from home I have more time to do that kind of stuff. Also, I don't plan to go to a grocery store any time soon, so I won't be buying any bakery type stuff.
We have a 'safer at home' order that starts at 8:00 am today in my state, so I'm sure there's going to be mobs of people at the grocery store early this morning during senior/people at risk hours.
Flour has been out in Chicago for about two weeks (I just went to the grocery this morning). I managed to find a bag of organic wheat last week and started a sourdough starter. Pasta is still out and soups too. Meat is all back in stock - there's tons of chicken. Like a scary amount. Frozen veggies back in stock. And tp is mostly still out.

I haven’t looked for flour but can’t find Wow Butter all of a sudden. Finally had to order a package of 6 on Amazon that will take 2 weeks to get here. Are allergy parents panic buying??
Baking bread is on my list of things to do because our regular hearty bread is really hard to come by right now for some reason. We can get the standard loaves with smaller/thinner slices which is fine and we're eating it, but if I can make something that feels a bit more like our usual stuff, it will feel like a piece of normalcy. And baking is definitely stress relief for me, too, so I bought flour, sugar, vanilla and some other basics as part of my prep.
I don't particularly care for sourdough, but my DH does, so I got a big mason jar on my last trip out, so that I have something for a sourdough starter to reside in.
If any of you live in areas where local farm stands or farmers markets are an option, I know some of my local farm stores are stocking local flour. There aren't a ton of small millers, but they do exist.

I'm so glad I bought a 12 (or 15?) lb bag at Costco a few weeks ago. I also bought a gigantic bag of yeast. I'm down to 5 rolls of toilet paper, but we'll have homemade bread!
H was able to find a single 2 lb bag of all-purpose flour at the store this morning. I'll take it over nothing, and thankfully I bought a new jar of yeast just before it started running out. Here I thought I was being responsible by planning to make my own sandwich bread because I know how and have the time to do it since I can WFH.

I'm in the Buffalo area and was able to get both regular AP and bread flour about 12 days ago, but the supply was low. My mom said she's looked for flour the last 2 times she went to the store and they were completely out. DH went yesterday and I meant to have him look for her, but forgot to ask him.
H just hit our Publix today and I had him check for WW flour (the only one I'm getting low on), and I guess they just got a good shipment in- there was plenty of flour on the shelves (including my KA WW). Zero chicken- no fresh, no frozen, not even the processed frozen dino shapes- LOL. If anything, this mess should teach us how fragile our day to day lives really are- our health care system- every eligible adult better be voting this year (and in every election). There is so much at stake.

I tidied up my baking-ingredients cabinet today, which is up high and oddly shaped, so stuff gets shoved to the sides and back where I can't see/reach it because I'm short. I wish I had more bread flour, and I don't know why I have so much self-rising flour, but overall I felt pretty good about where things stand. I have a ton of yeast because I accidentally bought DH a one-pound bag for Christmas (I thought it was smaller).
This evening I attempted my first homemade loaf of bread ever, and it's in the oven now. Fingers crossed, but it is looking pretty good.

I went to the grocery store this morning and not a single bag of flour to be had. I didn't even bother to see if they had yeast, b/c hey, no flour, no need, right?
I just saw this awesome recipe for Snickerdoodle cake, which needs no butter, no eggs and no milk--even though I HAVE all of those things, lol.

Self-rising flour and plain Greek yogurt make a nice flatbread!
Pretty much everywhere is out here. I live right down the street from Bob's Red Mill production. They're selling it in their store but were out of 5 and 10 pound bags. I did get a 50 pound bag of bread flour and a 25 pound bag of AP. I bake bread 3 to 4 times per week so I'll get through it before it goes bad.
I cannot find yeast anywhere. Luckily I have an active sourdough starter. Before we went on lockdown I shared portions of it with friends.
I was able to grab two 5 lb bags of AP flour at the grocery store on my last trip ~two weeks ago, but the shelves were pretty wiped out. I didn't realize how low I was on yeast when I went, and ended up ordering a 1 lb brick of it from KAF.
I've got bread flour, and have WW in my delivery order for Sunday. I hope it gets here!
So I didn't have any luck with my Target order the other night, but I checked the King Arthur website this morning and they had more in stock! I was able to order two 5 lb bags
