When I got divorced I had two and they really helped me change my outlook on things.
The first was “I approve of myself” and the second was “the world is full of love and I am loving and lovable.”
It sounds kind of hokey just writing it like that, but if I’m having a bad day repeating ‘the world is full of love and I am loving and lovable’ really helps. It can change the direction of my whole day.
Not necessarily a mantra, but a phrase a therapist said to me years ago that has gotten me through a lot of anxious moments and times when I’m feeling small: “you are worthy.”
I also love Glennon Doyle and I have sort of followed her for years. Watching her morning meetings everyday on Instagram has been so helpful. She has many “mantras” but the one she uses so often is, “We can do hard things.”

I love her! Am loving her morning meetings too!!
Have you read Untamed?
I am about halfway through it. Taking my time. Ready to file for divorce from H, but he is dragging his feet, so this is perfect for me to be reading. Also ordered it for some friends. She is so good!

Truthfully, it's "baby steps." I have to remind myself to slow down and take things one step at a time and not everything will give me immediate results.
One of my favorite writers constantly says “only love today”. It’s a reminder to live in the moment, let small things go and give yourself much needed grace. I try to live by it.
