Let's see if Bravo fires Kelly Dodd, Jax Taylor, Brittany Taylor, Lala, Kathryn Dennis, Brandi Redmond, etc...
Why wasn't Brett fired when his tweets came out?
There are SO many glaring racists/homophobes on the network.
During quarantine I have rewatched a lot of old Bravo. I am floored by a lot of the comments made.
I thought I remembered reading that the issue was that it was so close to the season premiere that they didn't have time to fill the storylines he was in. Given how boring the season was, I can't imagine what would have filled that time if that was the best they had to offer.
That being said, I still don't understand how these people get jobs in the first place when this stuff is out there. How are they not vetted properly?

He still works at Sur though. I understand keeping him on the show, but VP should have fired him from Sur (and as her personal trainer.)

She cares more about dogs than BLM.
True to all of that.
Also, surprised and not surprised that there was zero mention at the top of the reunion.
Also unsurprisingly a whole lotta white women signing that.
Yep. How can they look around at what's going on in the world and say that because no one did anything about this type of racism before it would be ok to ignore it now?
LVP released a statement on her Instagram page. It really says a lot of nothing. Does not condemn the behavior at all and does not indicate the guys' futures staying her employees.
Anyone watch The Challenge? It was announced this week that Dee was fired for racist comments on Twitter but they would continue to air the show for the fans. I watched last night and they seem to have cut out as much of Dee as possible, she was in the elimination challenge but they didn't show any one on one interviews with her and the running length of the episode was shorter than normal. The episode practically didn't make sense as they had edited so much out.
This is another example of a network accepting racists, homophobes, and misogynists for YEARS and just reacting now that its in the news.

So, I’m interested to see what further actions MTV and Bravo takes against the people on their shows. Kathryn still has a job from SC and she just made some heinous racist comments like a month ago. Ryan from Teen Mom OG threatened Maci’s kids to the extent she had to get a restraining order. Amber has repeatedly exhibited abusive qualities. Jax and Brittany are homophobes. The list is so, so long.
If they’re going to get rid of some, they need to get rid of everyone, across the board.

Does anyone listen to Watch What Crappens? They did their podcast on the latest VPR reunion and they agree to keep pressing the gas and try to voice opinions about other people.
Did you guys know that Austin and Craig had an IG live with Tomi Lahren. WTF
Can we talk about the fillers with the Australian women in MAFS? What’s the deal with this? All of them have it.
I was waiting for your reaction! That is not new to the season you're watching. Wait until stacy shows up (again).
Its also not unique to Australia. You know you can't forget the hilarity of Darcy and stacy crying this season and the image of them in profile. Also, it looks painful.
Btw, I meant to ask how they're airing episodes. Just like masterchef, mafs in Australia is 5 days/wk with the elimination on Sunday and new week beginning Monday (remember the what day is first thread?)

Oh so this is more of a game show, like Love Island? Its being released like the one here, so once a week. Is this not the first season?
By the way the three weeks was me being generous. I honestly think Andy should cancel the reunion tonight and just show a video of him announcing the entire show is cancelled.
Also, how pissed do you think Stassi is at Beau for not proposing sooner so they could have already had their wedding on camera by now?
If Bravo had any sense of decency or if they actually do care about BLM, this would be canceled. And they’d make a video on why they were fired and how they plan to go forth without continually making the same mistakes.
Oh come on. They have no decency. The more drama they have is fucking money. Andy is a fucking douche and has never done the "right thing."

Jalapeñomel darcy is on 90df us version(s) Stacy is her equally over filled twin sister. There was a scene of them "crying" (no tears) and someone got a screen grab that was both hilarious and painful looking.
Mafs au schedule is mon-wed dates/ daily living. Thursday is the wonderfully drama filled dinner party with all couples. Some of the best alcohol fueled reality drama ive ever seen. This is where the infamous chicken pox licking took place. A former bride said they keep them there for hours and hours until they got enough drama, so she just started shit so they could finally go home. Then Sunday they all get together and each part of the couple reveals whether they want to stay or leave. They both have to say leave to go. Elimination is the wrong word, but I couldn't think of anything better that also included mcau.
Masterchef is usually (not this current all star season especially as they continued filming after covid shutdown and had to rework stuff) a team challenge one day, losers often go straight to elimination at end of week, a day for a mystery box, a top 3 or so from the previous days to get a chance to compete for immunity, a day with a single person (winner from previous day) cooking against a pro for an immunity pin, and elimination pressure test on Sunday. There are variations in order and team makeup, but that's the general pattern. It's far more interesting, especially the mystery boxes which are a chance to experiment without the pressure of potential elimination. They also do occasional master classes, so some episodes are quite long. Each season is 50+ episodes but about the same number weeks as us version.
There's also mafs nz which follows the same pattern as au.
ETA mafs au that I think you're watching, the most recent to air that finished just a few months ago, is season 7.
cleo29 told me that Taylor was let go from a Teen Mom special for her past racist tweets. They’ll now be airing one on their own YouTube channel. 🙄
But yet, Amber still has a job with MTV, so...
The thing I don't get about this, MTV used this as a storyline a couple years ago. I read somewhere that Taylor actually sat down with Cheyenne and talked about the tweets. So when it works for a storyline it's good. But now?

Oh I know, hence the reason they still aired the show and will likely make a new season.

I was confused about the jump between Darcey and Stacey with MAFS. I’ve watched all of the 90 Day Fiancés!
I didn’t know there was a MasterChef Australia. I may have to look for that. I like the US version (but not as much as Hell’s Kitchen).

Gotcha. I used Darcy/ stacy to make the point the atrocious fillers wasn't an aussie only thing. What? You don't live in my head and can't follow my thought process?
Even with a vpn streaming au channel 10 for masterchef is very difficult. Go to dailymotion and start with season 5 or 6 (season 12 is current).
You may have heard of season 1 runner up, Poh. She's had a few cookbooks and shows. I live in se Asia currently, and she's Malaysian born, so it's not surprising I'd see her books here, but they are in English bookstores that cater to western expats.
Masterchef is in something like 30 countries. It's pretty interesting to see how much the show format varies.
