"Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you've got a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies-"God damn it, you've got to be kind.”
erbear - That came out wrong. I just happen to know they like to pay less money for childcare, and won't want to pay $400. I don't even have to ask them because I know that they won't based on knowing their childcare preferences in the past and them always going with the cheapest option (which were totally safe and good options).
When we hired childcare for the summer, they chose to alternate their schedule. They have more flexibility in their jobs, which DH does not, and I can't do e-learning totally by myself unless I have the world's weirdest schedule. No judgement for people who can make it by on alternating their schedules. I am actually jealous of that because if we could we would save a lot of money. I just know they don't want to alternate their schedules forever, but also don't want to pay $$$ in childcare either, so they are definitely stuck in a hard place. They are more likely to want to do a parent co-op than hire someone or if they do hire someone more likely for it to be just a few hours here and there.
