I am seeing that Underwood is behind by 600 votes according to the AP. NYT has her ahead, but the results seem behind. Where are people seeing that she won?
So... my dad has pretty much refused to talk politics with me since his mother died and he came out as a Republican who voted for George W. Bush, John McCain, and Mitt Romney, and who followed Glenn Beck.
HOWEVER he did tell my brother in the last year or so that he did not vote for Trump. I'm 100% sure he didn't vote for Hillary, but he might have left president blank or voted for Gary Johnson or whatever, which is fine, he lives in NY.
But then yesterday, his fiancee posted a video of them cracking open champagne after the election was called! And recently she's been posting about how it's nuts that there are people who don't think all the votes need to be counted, because that's not Democracy.
Anyway, it means a lot to me.
My Republican aunt and uncle voted for Biden. I was floored by how thrilled my aunt was yesterday; she calls Trump the orange monster. I know he got a lot of votes but you've got to love the wins. My mom (imagine Emily Gilmore but less in touch with her feelings, lol) had also been a Republican until the early 2000s and I think she'd gladly kick Trump right in the balls if she could.
Iâm really curious whether the comically ridiculous press conference at Four Seasons Total Landscaping will improve or torpedo their landscaping business.
OMG, you should check out the Yelp reviews people have been leaving (if they havenât been deleted yet.) Pure gold.
So far my favorite is: âThis place is a hotbed of coronavirus super-spreadersâ đ

This is HILARIOUS. Twitter account belongs to a photojournalist with Defector Media.
Wasn't allowed into the Four Seasons press conference, so he went next door and interviewed the owner of Fantasy Island. Caption: "Since I couldnât get in to the Trump press conference, I went to Fantasy Island next door. Zarif Jacob, an ex-architect, could not fathom why the presser was near his shopâor even happening. âHe lost. He knows he lost.â Also, people were taking up the spaces in his parking lot."
I've been searching high and low for Doug Emhoff's secret service call sign but I can't find anything yet. Kamala is officially "Pioneer" so it'll likely begin with a "P". Have any of y'all seen anything yet?

No idea but from all of my friends on sm there's a big push for mensch, lol. Which basically translates to one hell of a guy in Yiddish.

They tweeted out a pic of a âGore Winsâ front page from The Washington Times from 2000 with a snarky comment about how the media doesnât get to choose the president.
Except The Washington Times replies that they never ran such a headline and the front page that the Trump campaign is spreading is a fake.
Plus the first paragraph of the doctored Gore article clearly says that Bush was declared the winner.
I think I know whatâs probably behind Kushnerâs push to concede. If Trump doesnât, it could be only the second time in history that the U.S. loses its AAA credit rating (which happened once before during the financial crisis, in 2011.) At least one major credit rating agency has warned of a downgrade if Trump refuses to leave.
That would mean that interest rates would likely go up and it would cause a shock through the financial markets (other countries feel safe holding U.S. debt precisely because we have a peaceful transition of power.)
So basically his rich friends arenât going to be happy if Trump lets this drag on.
I think very little of Trump, but I do wonder if heâs enough of a narcissist to burn down the entire economy out of spite.
Oh, this is interesting. If interest rates go up, debt service payments go up. You know, like if just for example, you have >$1billion in loans where âabout half ... is secured by assets the president and his children own outright.â
"Hung up on me when I called to ask about their special 'we will build a wall & have Mexico pay for it.' Seriously where is a gal to find a honest racist landscaper?"
I saw Joe went to church this AM. But nothing much else. I hope this means Joe and Kamala are having the best Sunday dinners with their loved ones to celebrate. I hope they are getting a bit of a break. And all the staffers as well.
A Trump appointee is refusing to sign a letter allowing Bidenâs transition team to begin its work this week, another sign the incumbent president hasnât acknowledged Bidenâs win and could disrupt transfer of power.
So heâs just gonna finish his presidency by making more people sick
brandish obituaries of the 230,000 humans we have lost to COVID instead, you sociopathic fuck
Right?!
This story went around my cancer twitter buds awhile back. 20 year old submits absentee ballot while in hospital. So happy to vote. Then dies and vote doesnât count. Makes me think of the 230,000+ people who dies before the election.
probably an @ tag because it talks with her mom, so family @s

Wouldnât it be great if Biden found some absolutely iron-clad grounds to elevate this to the Supreme Court and Trumps own appointees were forced to rule against him because of the obvious legalitarian merit?
